[SOLVED] Seasonic 500w Psu for Msi R7950 Twiin Frozr.

AoA guys..
My question is that,, seasonic 500w psu would be enough for Msi R7950 Twin Frozr...?

for display only sure, heavy gaming No, it will keep throttling on 500watts PSU may even fry the PSU, go for minimum 550watts 36amps or a 600watts to be safe

What CyCo said. I'm no expert with PSUs but even a layman like me can tell you that you'll be cutting it close on a GPU like that which is something you want to avoid; better safe than sorry. Yes, it'll probably work but in any case, 500W isn't the beefiest if you want to upgrade in the future. Sell your current one, buy a 600W one and then go for the 7950. If need be, wait a few months and build up the cash and then go for it.

Thanks buddies for suggestion.. actually some people said that seasonic is a quality brand which shows more performance & efficiency than most of other brands with power of 600w.. BTW thanks for confirmation

It's true, a good quality PSU is better than one of a higher wattage but lower quality. However, we want to stay on the safe side.
