they are used to light up computer cpu chassis/cases for aesthetic purpose. there may be certain items in the cpu that are uv sensitive, which appear to glow in uv light.
currency notes are checked with uv light as there are hidden patterns only visible in uv light..

dearest Ommee.. Ultra Violet (UV) lights are Ultra Violet in colour. UV's are CCFL's for special glowing affect in computer casing.

coloured CCFL's are not UV.

i have only the UV available and no other are expected.

hope this clears out everything, for everyone.

    You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
