Samsung Galaxy S4 (i9505) 3G Connectivity/Network Issue

If IMEI is showing properly there shouldnt be any problem in running 3G :S. That's one strange problem you got there.
OK Found this on XDA. i think it might help. Try this And report back.
Downgrade to 4.2.2, And do the following.
Dial *#0808#; select RNDIS - DM - Modem and apply
Install qpst on PC and their drivers;
Open Qpst config; add port, select diagnostic com port, then download EFS Professional
open it and click qualcomm nv tools, open it select com port and then connect,
go to third tab, tick IMEI(DEC) and write your given IMEI at the back of the Galaxy S4 (found in your profile) and then click write and reboot
you have your IMEI, after then flash stock 4.4.2

He may not be able to downgrade because of 5.0 BL, which restricts you from flashing old stock ROMs.

no sim issue only 3G issue. signals are gone when I change gsm to wcdma as I have mentioned in OP.
it seems kinda complicated thing, and as @murtaza12 mentioned I have latest BL can I go back to 4.2.2? I read somewhere that as upgraded 4.4.2 BL is changed so there will be some problem in downgrading.. is this possible then I shud work on it ...?
shud I try it on current firmware?

Brother Once you upgraded to Lollipop bootloader. It would be very difficult if not impossible to go back to 4.2.2 without bricking the Device. SORRY but i've thought that you were on KK Bootloadercant I try on existing (lollipop) firmware?
cz I cudnt find any 4.2.2 stock firmware..

yeah i downgrade the firmware from lollipop to kitkat successfully from official to official downgrade firmware for*galaxy*s4*i9500 .
The first step is download the kitkat firmware(check the model) then u neeed odin 3.09 vision.make sure all driver is installed n ur computer.click on ap and select the file where ur kitkat firmware is locate.make sure re-partiion not marked.go to downlading mode on your mobile then wait for odin to reconize ur device then u see any com part go for click start buttn . after complete the method if your device stuck n booting there is a solution go to recovry menu and wipe cache and reset data/wipe data and reboot ur device thn u can enjoy ur previous vision of os kitkat....

Lollipop latest OTA is NOT downgradeable. You must have been on a older OTA.

Hey guys, Looking at this thread reminds me of what Exactly I went through.
A month back I bought S4 i9505 and I checked every dam thing but didn't check for 3G. Who checks that? Well no one.
It's 2G was working fine but on changing to 3G, signals would vanish. I am a techie and I spent 2 days trying every possible way, flashed different Roms and tried different settings. But all in vain. Then searched Google where it showed a few threads on this issue but in end it was found to be HARDWARE, issue. 2G and 3G/4G have different modems. It is the 3G modem that had damaged or its connecting pin pulled out either by drop or shocks.
I had two options, either to open it and check for the damage or sale it out.
I gave it to a mobile seller friend of mine , he sold it out with a small loss but let me assure you that just like you didn't check for 3G, no one will. So sell it out
