Hmmm disappointing, if true. Then again, both are 60fps games, so it was somewhat to be expected.

The real shocker for me is Killer Instinct. I mean, how does one justify a fighting game being rendered at 720p on a next-gen console. Granted that it's running at 60fps as well, but there's the advantage of a fixed viewpoint and limited backdrops to render, with only two on-screen characters models.

I find that unlikely. No matter how 'non-stronger than PS4' the Xbone is. It's still enough to run a game like CoD Ghosts at 1080p/900p at 60fps considering how non-flattering it looks.

This would be a pretty hard to believe rumor if Xbone didn't already have a 720p/60FPS game and that game is an Xbone exclusive fighting game. They can't get 1080p/60FPS on a fighting game? I mean what are they using all the amazing next gen resources on, the cloud?

highly doubtful this is true...if they can run a game like Ryse at 900p then making games like these fly at 1080p shouldn't be a problem. as much as i hate Crytek, Ryse is still the best looking game for next-gen consoles and that speaks a lot for One's capabilities.

KI's case is confusing but hey at least there is no official confirmation that game will remain 720p. maybe the devs optimism the game to 1080p 60fps before launch.

Yeah it's really confusing.Ryse is a demanding game and running at 900p whereas cod goats runs 720p.Need official report on that
