dear gurus i want to make UEFI bootable windows xp sp3 usb flash drive...

So please guide me as i have to repair my windows n i have no cd/dvd rom drive installed currently.

If you will NEVER EVER EVER overclock your processor and won't ever even consider SLI/Crossfire then sure, H77 will be good enough. But then you don't need to spend extra for K series processors as well. However, I would still recommend a K series processor with Z77 (or Z68, if budget is limited) motherboard as processor is a long term investment compared to GPU and you should overclock your processor to around 4GHz to get best performance out of your GTX680.

Other than the part about overclocking being BS, you are right :wink2:

Not that it matters, but K series processors also have better built-in GPU (HD3000 and 4000 instead of HD2000 and 2500)

i have a problem my monitor/lcd brightness is changed from high to low its too low!!! and when i change my brightness from monitor buttons it doesn't work plz help

You can right click on desktop and go into AMD Catalyst. From there you can change brightness, saturation, gamma and other settings. If you have an Nvidia card, then there is Nvidia Control Panel which can be accessed the same way as AMD Catalyst is accessed.

Assalam-UL-Alaikum..iam to buy THIS card for my PC. Now i have the Absolute SuperPower 550W AK3000 PSU. So, my question is that Will i be able to run this card on this PSU ? also will i be able to Overclock it as it's an overclock monster and also already my HD 4850 runs at 76-80 Degree C so the temp. problem will not be there But i have some little doubts over the PSU although i've heard of guys having some Seasonic 520W PSU using the 7950 and OC'ing it fully!..so it's clear that it's possible but i need your advice on it. IS IT POSSIBLE ?

hi guys

i am having some issues in my computer that whenever i try to play any game the screen starts blinking specially when i play farcry3 or gta iv extreme level of blinking occurs its like screen goes black completely and then comes back. i am also play sleeping dogs but havent got any problem in that game

my system specs are

core i5 750 processor
gtx 580 sc gpu
4 gb ram
corsair gs 700 watt psu
windows 7 32 bit

i have also tried older version of drivers but couldnt get rid of blinking i wonder what could be the reason can any body please help me out

Im setting up a new custom build for mac mountain lion 10.8.3


iv got the following options


iv chosen GIGABYTE H61M DS2 REV 2.0 for my motherboard
160GB HDD WD
2GB RAM DDR3


for the processor i have the INTEL PENTIUM G2010 but as it seems it doesnt support HD2000/3000/4000 graphics
another option is INTEL I3 2100


im stuck at the final installation though....


is any body here who has first hand experience of building a hackintosh with similar specs or who can help me out

Need some advise

Facing two problems

1. Currently on my laptop i have windows 8 with the WMC and activated, Now i am changing my laptop, is there anyway to remove the activation from this laptop and activate the windows on the new laptop using the same key (by using some file)

2 Now the new laptop is HP Pavilion G6-1107tx, officially it comes with windows 7 and AMD 6470, i have installed windows 8 on it, the windows didn't pick the gpu and didn't download any drivers for it
So i went to amd site and even from there couldn't download the drivers
in the end downloaded drivers from HP support site, which were for windows 8

Now problem is that after installing the drivers when i open GPUz, it is reading the card as AMD 7400 series and most of the details are missing
Any idea how to fix this problem
Even in device manager it shows amd 7400 series

PLEASE HELP - GIGABYTE 7850 - C ( 2 GB ) BSoD / driver failure

Hello all!

I recently upgraded my graphics card from Gigabyte 6850 (1 GB) to Gigabyte 7850 (2 GB – New - bought yesterday in 2 year warranty). The 6850 GPU was running perfectly in my PC.


So the problem starts from installing CCC (or only driver set). I'm getting Blank screen when I reach the Windows Login Screen after 1[SUP]st[/SUP] boot of CCC or only driver installation. My system gets halted in blank screen state after few seconds from Windows loading logo and I have to restart it manually. I have tried different drivers specifically from Gigabyte website and from its original cd but the problem persist. I have also seen BSOD error couple of time but I can’t read the msg as it disappears after quick session. Every time I have to go in SAFE MODE to Device Manager and uninstall my Radeon 7800 Drivers to make computer stable.

I can get to windows just fine without any drivers. The “Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" drivers enables me to set resolution something like 1366 X ___ ( sorry I don’t remember yet ) but cant find the information in Dxdiag . Only MSI Kombustor detect 7850 in info. & nothing more.


I've tried:

Windows Memory Test - No Errors Found
Removed each and every GPU related softwares & drivers including MSI Kompuster , CCC afterburner , Gigabyte GURU and then install only driver locating from device manger .


System specs:
Sapphire 7850 2GB OC 3.0
MSI – 970A G - 46
AMD Phenom II X4 965 ( @ 3.4 Ghz stock speed )
Hyper 212 with TWO High RPM 120 mm fans ( Push And Pull )
Kingston Hyper X 8 GB ( Red Edition ) @ 1600 Mhz
Creative - X - FI ( with daniel K modded drivers ) - I have also builtin Sound card which i have already disabled from bios
Windows 7 64 BIT Ultimate
Samsung P 2370 ( 23 Inch ) 1920x1080 LCD Monitor
PSU : HIPRO 700 Watt
Chassis : Thermal take v - 4 black Edition ( equipped with 4 120 mm fans controlled via Lamptron FC 5 V2 )

A bit of searching around the internet has shown that there are a few others with similar problems, some only getting some of the errors, others getting them all + bsods.

I believe that it is software / driver related issue and returning the card would be my last option, If anyone has any advice, recommendations, or experience with this it would be very much appreciated! You may text your cell no so that I will call you back and discuss the matter in detail.

Need Help, My friend asked me to Install Windows 8 on New HP 1000 Series Shehbaz Sheriff Laptop, but it doesn't allow me to install Windows 8. I mean when ever I click on Install Windows it just keep on loading and nothing happens. Also I tried to find its HDD Sata/ATA settings but they were no where to be found in BIOS. If anyone has a solution then please do share.
