Got something for Chanderson

Capcom's Chris Kramer recently got a sneak-peak at early design documents of the game. From what he saw, he says this title will be "totally different" for a Resident Evil game.

"I can tell you that Capcom is working very closely with Sony on this title, as it's something that both companies have wanted on the PSP for quite some time," Kramer writes.

"It's not a 'remake' of a previous RE game, but an all-new title created specifically for the PSP platform, with the PSP Go in mind."

Kramer went on to say the game is still "some ways off," so don't expect a release anytime soon.

Still nothing too specific yet, unfortunately. Hopefully we start to see more of this game soon.

Something new and different but i don't see any release this year.

the "with the psp GO in mind" bit makes me think it'll be digital download only and will have some kind of online component ..

chandoo they said that the old umd system will still go on for the future games, every game on digital will come on umd aswell and every game on umd will come on digital soon so this wont be any different i hope.

Nah man! Havent heard anything like that, infact there were some news bits saying that sony is planning to convert your old umds in digital content not sure how they will do that but about the validity of this news try google!

This would be cool! RE series on the PSP would be epic! Anyone saying a something like RE cannot be put into a psp needs to get a taste of Resistance retribution.
Or it could be an overhead shooter like killzone liberation, overhead zombie-shooter would be cool IMO!

i hope its perfectly designed to be a PSP game cause so far i am hating all the shooter games on PSP :s, games like MGS: p-ops (WTF! how can they make an mgs game like that :O) & Syphon Filter are a pain to control on psp :/, games like tomb raider & GOW seems to control better.

but reaper,u ll also agree on it that FSP games on psp r likr worthless.cos psp have only 1 stick,hats y i didnt play any shooter title on it.n always praying for 2nd stick on psp2.

thats also a reason i want RE like old sytle.full 3rd person view.
