Finally, I bought RE 4 Remake today.
Before indulging in the main game, I decided to engage in some foreplay by buying remakes of RE 2 and 3, as well as HD versions of RE and RE Origins.

What a game, Loved it from start to the end.
Only thing I missed from the og was the atmosphere the surroundings and music created, no matter how bad the graphics were.
Also they improved Ashley from annoying to waifu.

Having played the game recently on PC/SteamDeck with the HD Texture Project and RE4 Framework, I agree. The atmosphere of the OG can still hold its own.
The RE4 Framework Mod is a godsend - adds a perfect balance of modern/classic controls esp if you're on a mouse/kb. Despite the Remake being pretty good overall, I'd still urge people new to the game to check it out on PC first.

Just completed the game on my 6800H pc with inbuilt gpu on medium/high settings 720p 60 fps without any issues or a single crash.Broken games and exorbitant GPUs: PC gaming is rough right now

Computers have a lot of functional usage, adequate gaming at launch is often not one of them.
