Razer Lachesis 4000dpi NOT DETECTED :(

Guys...
i just upgraded to windows 7 x32 from vista x32 and had xp x32 before that....
my lachesis used to work flawlessly on XP and VISTA but when vista got affected by a nasty virus I took it to my local shop and asked them to format my harddisk and install windows 7 for me...
since windows 7 ,my mouse is not being detected . what I did was i simply went to the razer website and downloaded the latest windows 7 drivers for Lachesis 4000dpi and installed the software but when i open it up it says '' No mouse detected! ,Press ok to scan usb ports again or press cancel to continue (no settings will be saved) ''

even if i press ok nothing happens :/

I've tried almost everything such as different USB ports and restarting a hundred times and plugging it back again and trying to update the firmware but even the firmware updater doesnt recognize the mouse and says ''current firmware 0.00''

has any1 experianced this with their lachesis ? any and all help will be appreciated

I just went through this thread and seems as his mouse is being detected but isnt working for some reason.... my mouse doesnt even appear in the device manager...
and p.s i just tried it on another pc with XP x32 and the same thing is happening on that pc aswell... only the mousewheel wala light lights up BUT the razer Logo is off

comon guys this is supposed to be a gamer's paradise !! reply ?? i cant play any game properly with a wireless mouse (and no its not a razer mamba )
