So now both so-called "true next-gen" first-party exclusives have I/O stuttering on PS5.

It's also important to realize that improving LOD management isn't the goal of fast I/O. It's to provide rapid access of decompressed data to the cpu/gpu

Not even a year in the PS5 life cycle and expectations of eliminating pop-in have already....popped away! And this is just a game with PS2 era gameplay

A 7/10 from Edge magazine. Wasn't expecting a high score from them to begin with. The previous game received a 6, and the highest score a R&C game has received is an 8. It'll probably bring the Metascore down to 88.

Although perhaps the most damning indictment is that regardless of the incredible graphics the basic design and gameplay still feels stuck in the PlayStation 2 era.
