I bought QMobile A1 Android One on 8 Sep 2015 Tue 3 weeks ago from now.
Although mobile is really great and responsive. But had 2 major issues:

1. Call Quality DROPS drastically, its like ever 3 seconds volume decreasing to Zero and these RANDOM JUMPS & disrupts the call quality so much i did not understood 60% thing said to me or the other person on Phone Calls.

2. Video Recording was mostly Choppy and Out of Sync, on Stock Camera app and on all other Video Recording Apps such as Camera MX, DubSmash etc etc.

STORY 1:

So yesterday, on 3 Oct 2015 Sat i gave my A1 mobile to QMobile Service Center.
And The QMobile Service center person wrote "No Service/Signal Problem and Video Player Problem" on my Warranty Receipt.
I said "ye VIDEO RECORDING ka Issue btaya tha mne to ye CAMERA SENSOR se related ha, VIDEO PLAYER to totally alag cheez ha. Video to PC se copy kr k Play Krne ka to mne nhi kaha, Video recording ka kaha ha mne"
He Said "dono ek hi cheez hen, video record kr k video player pe hi to chlti ha na."
I said "agr masla hal na howa to mje phr ana pre ga? warranty claim khtm ho jae ga mje PAY krna pre ga next time"
He Said "nhi apki warranty pora year ki ha jitni mrzi bar ae, FREE mn fix ho jae ge sare issues jb tak apke pass warranty card ha. fikr na kren"
I said "Ok" and i left because he was unwilling to re-write the mistake from VIDEO PLAYER to VIDEO RECORDING PROBLEM.

I will get back my mobile after 10 days from QMobile Service Center on 13 Oct 2015 Tue.

STORY 2:

I thought QMobile A1 Android One is manufactured by Google so quality control might be way better than QMobile other phones, QMobile Andoid One only sold it with their own Name & Label on it with No marketing At All because Android One is a major threat to itself because of constant update and patches from Google.

BUT I WAS WRONG, I bought another brand new QMobile A1 Android One yesterday on 3 Oct 2015 Sat the same day i submitted my QMobile A1 for warranty claim.
I Bought this brand new QMobile A1 for my brother and it suffers same Call Quality Drop issues and SOMETIMES Choppy VIDEO RECORDING Issue.
Now what should i do? reclaim warranty after 1 day of use? it seems like QMobile bought all defective phones from India's Android One updated 4gb ROM to 8gb and put on Karbonn Sparkle V back cover, now started selling it in Pakistan.

i wasted PKR 23,000 on this crap.
Do you guys having this problem also?
What is your Experience with QMobile Warranty Claim ??

RESULT (final thoughts) : 2015-11-06 Fri
so i bought 3rd mobile last week also, so
1. 2015-09-08 Tue - QMobile A1 for me
2. 2015-10-03 Sat - QMobile A1 for bro
3. 2015-10-27 Tue - QMobile A1 for sis

Bad about this mobile:
1. video quality is very bad, you have to use LgCamera app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rubberbigpepper.lgCamera to make it run better with manual video setting.
2. Voice Quality is Bad (frequent call quality drop on earpiece only During SIM calls), i said Quality drop NOT Call drop.
3. to get rid of Choppy Video recording use only Stock ROM.

Good about this mobile:
1. Phone is fast and very responsive. Especially when in multi tasking.
2. battery timing is good.
3. photo quality is on par with Samsung Galaxy S4 if you look at it closely. but not over saturated like Samsung phones.
4. the Call quality drop issue did get better after QMobile Warranty Claim service.

My Review SUMMARY 2015-11-06 Fri:
if you want to buy Samsung Galaxy S4 or iPhone 5c (brand new NOT used) but do not have budget for it which is around 25k-30k PKR then this 11k PKR (10,800 PKR) phone is a better choice for you.

Do not buy this phone if:
Your Budget is MORE THAN 25,000 PKR. You Make a lot of SIM Calls and Make a lot of Videos.

Do buy this phone if:
your budget is LESS THAN 25,000 PKR. You like DUAL SIM, Take A lot of Photos, do Messages on SIM whatsapp Facebook. Make internet VIDEO Call/Chat on Skype Hangout SnapChat etc. And also make a lot of VOICE Call on Internet (whatsapp, hangout, facebook etc) NOT ON SIM.

My Review is based on using QMobile A1 Android One for Pakistan for 2 months from 8 Sep 2015 to 6 Nov 2015. During this i used 3 different QMobile A1 mobiles and also Samsung S4 SGH-i337 (USA version), Samsung S3 i9300, 2 different LG LU6200 (Korean version LG) mobiles.

Why would anyone in the right mind spend more than 10k on a QMobile?

Your own fault for buying the same phone again.

For 22k you can get so much other good stuff, iPhone 5, Galaxy S4, Xperia Z1, HTC One or those Huwaei/Infinix phones, what I'm trying to say, is there's a large variety.

well the phone was perfectly fine and had no problems whatsoever and the call quality etc. everything was great then I decided to buy another phone, Passed A1 to my lil bro now he is also facing the same choppy video recording I didn't know this was hardware related guess i'll have to get it fixed. Will report once it's fixed.

I can't say anything about call quality. But you should not expect much from a 5mp camera. And if u visit Android one website its all about latest Android version and cheaper smartphone. So my brother if I were u, I would not have expected much from this device...

i have old Samsung ACE s5830 its has single core 800mhz processor with 278mb RAM. And that phone has NEVER faced Choppy Video recording or SHITTY VOICE CALL QUALITY, not even once. it has 5MP Camera also.

i have old Samsung ACE s5830 its has single core 800mhz processor with 278mb RAM. And that phone has NEVER faced Choppy Video recording or SHITTY VOICE CALL QUALITY, not even once. it has 5MP Camera also.

After updating to Android 6.0 the camera is working fine, no lags

Hot 2 is good and i am selling one [emoji14]

When i9 came out i bought one and works fine then i gave to one of my senior colleague, then bought another one it has a vertical line, which can be seen when the phone is tilted, i gave it for warranty and they said you need to change the lcd after wasting my 10 days. After that i have seen so many i9 with same issue. The first batch was good and second batch has same issue, so the quality on qmobile is really a question mark. Though mobile works perfectly fine for a year.

what kind of thing you mostly do?
make a lot of phone calls on SIM and make More videos and Less photos?
or make calls on Internet (whatsapp facebook etc) and take MORE photos and LESS videos?
