PTCL urghhh....

Its been a week. And I am facing frequent disconnections. Internet gets disconnect randomly and comes after 1-2 hours, sometimes 4-5 hours. And it comes randomly too...I mean I change nothing and it comes back and goes. PTCL people are not being too helpful. Can anyone tell what the hell is going on?
I am sick of PTCL peole....dsl ki lights ka status phoochtay hain doosrey bandey ko transfer karte hain, complaint llikh kar kehtay hain banda visit karey ga. Thori deir baad khudi thek ho jata hai aur banda phone kar key kehta hai masla hall kardia gya hai.

And 2-3 hours later, I face the same issue....urghh.


Help would be really appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem. EXACTLY THE SAME. My DSL light is stable and Internet light is red on my AN1020-16T PTCL Modem. I have to call PTCL they say they've registered my complaint and after 2 hours of boredom the internet is fixed itself again. Shit PTCL. I am in Rawalpindi BTW.

Exactly same problem.. 100% same issue... like u guys said...
what i did was complained on 1218 IN english mode.. Stated ke i m a doctor n all and talked very very politely... 2 my amazement mashAllah my internet is fixed after 24 hrs...

Well i had that problem. Then i convert it into fiber optics after that mine work perfectly!!

Well line men bhi 500 leyta hai and ptcl walay bhi 500. Bus ptcl walay bill par laga leytay hai. Karachi Club kay pass ptcl hai i went there waha form dia or thora time xaroor laga but jaisay sai hogaya. PTcl par 500 lag kar aigai.. Line par bharosa nai tha is liye direct ptcl say karwa lia

If you have converted your line to fiber optic then my option is stick to it instead of EVO because as time passes all the slots on ONU will be filled and its difficult to get one

I also have disconnection problems and the good thing is i also can't convert my line to optic fiber because in my area no optic fibers are available

But i invented a desi tariqa to re-connect

I had the same problem with old modem [it's some kind of electricity shit that causes disconnections] Now with my new wireless modem All is well.
