I am on PTCL 1Mbps, my download speed is remain between 120-115KB/s

my speed on torrents depends on seeds, if i have good seeds then 10- 115
if low seeds then it can be any speed below 100
and direct downloads i get 100kb/s speed.

Ask your guys to come and check the DSL Filter. It is the possible culprit.

The upload is around 200kb/s ... it went down during the test cus I turned on a webcam that very moment.

This clearly looks like the problem of the signal splitter, make sure your signal splitter is fine and it's placed before any telephone set extension/distribution within your house, else your DSL will keep on getting disconnected whenever someone pickup the telephone receiver or there is a incoming call coming.

And peoples please flush the speedtest, it's the most unreal speedtest site, try to use DSLreports.com instead, I found it more accurate.

inferno is right .Once i was using Dial up . It said the downloading speed is 37kps and upload is 12 kbps and i was connected on 32 kbps LOL

Broadband Pakistan 512K with a screwed up telephone line which forces me to reset every 4-5 hours. Temporary problem new line soon.
