I have 4mb connection but they have changed my port to 8 mb

well i too have 4mb connection and my port is at 4mb aswell but still i got to play smart tv on my hdtv and sometimes it runs on my pc aswell the app

yes, Smart Tv app will work through any router.

What I ment was to connect your tv as a secondary display to your laptop.

I applied for this service last Saturday and they still haven't activated it.
I have called them many times and they say my status is "n progress" even after they had sent a guy who tried for 1-2 hours and failed to activate it and my line is showing 7 Mbps instead of 4.
And I am using it with Ethernet so Wireless is not the issue.

find smarttv.m3u on your pc, it's in the c:\users\<name>\appdata\roaming\ptcl ( in windows 8 )
edit and enjoy. smarttv is just vlc player with a playlist.

yea well i have tried it but it isn't working the smart tv of ptcl always replaces those files which i add i guess it has something to do with the interface of vlc ..

hi, all

i have subscribed for this service on the 11th of April, 10 days gone, but no response from the PTCL side. i have 4MB connection technically but, i am getting 7MB after the order of PC tv app,,, i am using Sagemcom Fast 1704, is there any body who can help my set this up for this service i tried all things but in no success. can any body tell me what is the problem...

this is my speed after the subscription of pc tv app,, previously i am getting 4607KB down and now, 7167KB ,,, The transfer rate on IDM is amazing, its hitting 840 KB/sec, but the worst thing is that PC tv is still not working.....

why r u using smart tv ? just use your own vlc and a copy of the playlist

array yaar ... is mein tutorial ki kya zaroorat hai.
here are the steps:

1) Open your VLC player
2) Since you've already installed smart tv app on your PC, it saves the playlist "smarttv.m3u" on your PC somewhere. In my case it's in c:\users\<name>\appdata\roaming\ptcl ( i'm using windows 8 )
3) copy that file elsewhere on your desktop or something.
4) now simply drag & drop this playlist in your VLC player, and that's it

Actually, you dont even need VLC for it, you can run on any player that allows for streaming.

Wo is liay nahi mil rahi ho gi kuon k folder hidden/protected ho ga. Just type in the path in the address bar, or unhide the folder from folder options.

shukar karoo k app ka freez ho k chal raha hay .. un say puchoo k jin ka tu chal he nahi raha. kia exchange say koi issue hay , can any body guide please
