Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL) has introduced Wi-Fi enabled USB ‘3G EVO Wingle’ that connects multiple Wi-Fi enabled devices simultaneously at hyper speeds of up to 9.3 Mbps. They are offering the device with 3 months unlimited internet at PKR 7500/- . Is anyone using this device? I want to know the range of Wifi. If it covers my whole house, I am surely buying this

PTCL doesn't even know what ping is, don't believe them. They don't even test things before selling them, it'll give 40-50m with great difficulty.

I got one yesterday. Its a prepaid one. I must say pathetic recharge options for wingle. No easy paisa retailer or Ufone topup retailers are uploading the balance on this device. I should try the Ufone franchise tomorrow.

not possible with vfone scratch cards either...only 2 options easy paisa or uload.. be careful before buying..

Yesterday I barely escaped making mistake of buying this Wingle thing. A friend of mine went ahead and bought it. He could not configure it for use on his laptop and he gave it to me for testing. I could not set it up for wifi use, however, with my laptop it gave download speed of 0.76 MBPS against claim of 9.3 MBPS.

I called PTCL .. and according to them, my area has excellent reception ...

Not recommended ...

johar bl 16a. iam getting 160~180kbps on torrents .speed test showing 2.5 mbps. not tested wifi range. no it is working perfectly no disconnection problem Alhamdullah...

Yes it can connect everything and the speed depends upon signals reception just like nitro USB.
