PTCL dsl problem 4mb HELP

Hello..

AoA.. I used to have 1 mb ptcl dsl internet. The man who came to setup the dsl told me 4mb dsl may not work here . I asked on phone and they told me that yea it will. Exchange gaya tha uno kaha nahi. Phir gaya bola han . Well now i got 4mb and getting awesome speed 470/kb per sec.. Now the problem is that when i make phone busy so the internet works. But as soon i put back the phone the dsl light goes and internet goes down. And the problem was in 1mb was that i have to pick phone to chaloo the internet unless i hear the DIAL-UP sound the net wont work. This is the same prob i am having with 4 mb. I disconnect phone from the DIBBI (splitter) and the dsl was working fine. I called the help line and they picked up after 8 minutes .. They told me that we have forwarded your complain and you know there complain forwarding .. Kya karoon yr ab /? ?

i have the same problem with Zxdsl 831cII btw do u have copper wire or fibre optic?

There can be possibly 3 problems?
1. Check that if you have inserted the cables of Phone & ADSL modem in the right port of Splitter. If you turn around the splitter it's clearly written under it, one port has "PHONE" heading & one has "DSL" heading.

2. Check if the line you are using for dsl is not connected to any phone set, means k dsl wali line se telephone set connect na kia ho. Telephone sets sirf aur sirf us line se connect karo jo k "PHONE" ki port main se i hui ha.

3. Replace the splitter and then check it.

Or may be just that PTCL is just plainly screwed up and will always be screwed up cuz the people and the boss working there are all screwed up

i had the same problem u need a new splitter.. when ever u pick up the phone or put down ur phone.. it disconnects and starts reconnecting.. the ptcl guy came and changed my splitter working fine now..

its 100% splitter's fault. . i had the same problem.. after changing it .. not having any issue like this...

DSL Probelm

Connect your wire directly in to modem. without any splitter..
There will be no joint in ur cooper line connection from pole to ur "Dabbi"..
If theres is a joint or broken wire. then exchange all wire from pole to your room..
If A full role can do that and ur home is not too far from pole..

Dont use the internal wiring... Take the cable as it is in ur room from some method..

Your both SNR margin should be above 10

In statistics
then ADSL you can check your SNR margin...

Yeh sab kuch kr k check kro..
