Faster uploads mean improvement in voice and video calls/conferencing, media sharing like photos and videos over social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Whatsapp etc, FTP uploads, sending emails, remote desktop sharing, gaming and many more.
It has been observed that ‘Annex M’ improved the upload speed from 1 Mbps to around 2 Mbps (sometimes even twice as fast as standard ADSL2+ which customer was getting). This technology’s theoretical upload speed limitation is 3.3 Mbps.

Opening Modem Configuration Interface
Enable Annex M in Modem by going to Advanced Setup > DSL option and check Annex M
ADSL2+ Enabled
AnnexM Enabled
Pressing Apply/Save Button and Modem will reboot/restart

Before Applying it was 2.27 but after it I was getting 2.22 and slightly decreased download so I took it back.

Well, I tried this a few months ago and when I asked them to switch me back to ADSL, ADSL2+ my sync rates changed but the line still only synced on AnnexM after that it's been 5 months and they still refuse to acknowledge that AnnexM is still enabled. After that, I even got downgraded to 4mbit because of how unstable my line became. (Currently, my line is totally screwed because of the rain)

Currently, @ptclcares hasn't even responded to my tweets or DM's that I've sent him in a week.

Yes, They have to enable it from the exchange otherwise your modem won't sync on AnnexM at all. My issue is that my modem only syncs with AnnexM, if I uncheck AnnexM my line does not sync.

well feeling the difference isn't exactly how you check if it's actually enabled.
Take a screenshot of your modem's status>statistics>DSL/xDSL page like I did in my screenshot earlier. If you open up my screenshot at the top you can see Mode: Adsl2+ AnnexM. Which means my modem syncs my connection using the AnnexM modulation. Which is basically a version per say of ADSL2+ to put it basically.
If you got >1mbit without AnnexM in the first place that must mean you're on VDSL2 in that case you won't need to do the AnnexM thing for higher upload, As AnnexM is for ADSL2/ADSL2+.
VDSL is superior to ADSL Technology.

Well put it simply if you want to check if your line is using AnnexM or not you can go to your modems web page then Status>Statistics>DSL/xDSL when you open this page you should take a screenshot and send it here. If you wanna see for yourself it should say at the top (Mode: e.t.c) It should say ADSL2+AnnexM there. If it's something like G.DMT, ADSL2+ then it seems like you aren't using AnnexM. If it says anything like VDSL, VDSL2 then you Don't need to get AnnexM as it won't benefit you at all.

yes indeed you are on VDSL. your line stats are perfect. AnnexM doesn't work with VDSL and it would make it worse so dont try this i tried it and it made my connection worse.
