Ptcl 2mb ...to slow in downloading

noticed sine last couple of days that downloading speed is effected on my 2mb connection , there is no noise in the line , everything was fine used to get around 190k-200k on torrents and 220k on regular downloads but now it keeps on jumping on regular downloads 75k-90k-150lk-then down to 120k.

whats going on ..is any one experiecing any other issues with there connection .

saem here....i get around 210kb/s on torrents but on normal downloadin i never got about 140.....and now its lowered to around 110kb/s

yes this is what i have noticed sine last couple of days , no reason as to why this is happened ...line is perfect , margins are also perfect ...either they have slowed us down by force ..or what ..i dont understand ..

guys ..any help on this would be appreciated ...........there has to be a reason ptcl has done this ....

The download speed is fine but the browsing and streaming are dead slow. According to PTCL there is an issue and its being worked on.

same prob here... i m downlaoding from rapidshare @ 15kb/s... i dont know whats the reason but i noticed this since this morning.

brother is over all slow , lots of ppl are effected us included , the damn help line ppl cant help , its ptcl back end issue , coz all was well untill last 2 days or so ...i guess we have to wait n see.

bro try thses dns server addresses preferred dns:- 203.99.163.240 and alternate dns:-202.125.132.12 or 202.125.132.9 i think this may resolve ur problem

guys do check it out again , coz last nite speeds went back up to 190k-200k on torrents and are still there in morning , so either they have resolved the issue or it will come back again .

well me too... i am getting crap speeds right now on 2mb... only like 60kb/s...it was good last night... but the pings were still bad.. ofcourse a problem from ptcl side... the pings are high and i cannot play cs on servers... come on ptcl get back to normal...

Bro agar ...nai ho rha ...is say b den phr main say koi khass masla hai....kafi loog mughay keh rhay hain k janab....dns say b kuch khass faida nai ho rha,,,,,where as jo mai nai app ko dns addresses deyea hain...wo bht fast hain...agar tb b masla nai hul ho rha tau im sorry janab.....phr u have 2 wait kyun k yea koi major kisim ka rola lug rha hai ptcl k sath.....which will take sum tym 2 resolve !!!

Same with my 4mb connection the download speed has been erratic since the last couple of days . PTCL has been quite undependable the last couple months any nws why this is happening ? except the usual customer call center rep saying that PTCL is doing upgrades

mine running fine..but ping is strange 137 with Islamabad 307 with Lahore and 237 with Russia
