PSN not logging in :(

HI. I just bought a ps3 slim with CoD mw3. I connected it to my home Wi-Fi. Psn wont login, gives (error 80710a06) on Wi-Fi and (error 80710104) on wired connection. The ps3 internet browser is working perfect and I have checked that Psn is not down. I have gone through the forums and done all I can with my ps3 and my router (DNS related settings) but i still cant get it to connect to PSN. Please advise or direct me to a solution. Much thanks ;(

Edit: It gives this error when i try to Sign in for PSN, the first time, the blue screen with the sign up and use existing account options. these errors occur when i select any of these 2 option ;/

Try using a wired connection and see if it works.

i did. as i said, it gives different errors for both wired and wireless.

make sure no proxy etc is enabled on ur ps3 ! coz its working fine here...

It's DNS error which means your router is having a hard time sorting IP address' for devices usually a cold boot to the PS3 and Router solves it wait 20 secs before turning router back on once its dialled out boot up the PS3 and then try it. But if not do this what it says in the link

1) Leave your PS3 settings on automatic/easy (probably what you already had it set as before).
2) Locate the IP address of your router. For example’s sake, mine is a D-Link DI-604 with IP 192.168.0.1
3) Open a web browser (Firefox or Internet Explorer for example) on a computer connected to your router (The PS3’s browser might also work but I didn’t try that).
4) In the address bar, type in the IP address of you router.
5) If it asks for a username and password, enter whatever you set it as. If you never set one, check the manual with your router and it will probably give the default username and password. If you can’t find one, try username “admin” with no password.
6) Once you get in, look for the setting to enter "DNS Primary and Secondary." (In mine, it was under “WAN.”) Once you find it, enter the values above for DNS (208.67.222.222 primary and 208.67.220.220 secondary). - Mine had 0.0.0.0 for both primary and secondary before I did this which makes me further believe that this was the problem. - Make sure to apply the changes.
7) Check the connection on your PS3 and hope that it is working.

Major Aly that was the first thing iv read on the forums and tried over and over ;/ i have ptcl 2mb zte modem with a d-link (dir-300) router.
can it be a problem with the firmware? im on 4.0 and this error occurs after i open the sign up for PSN right when i select sign up or use existing account. it doesnt not go past this blue page. ;/

Is your PS3 banned or anything from hacking?

no no that was the first thing i checked the error then comes AFTER you login, this error doesnt let me proceed to the login page, just keeps coming when i click on the login option ;/ besides this ps3 was never cracked, its new. can it be a corrupt fiemware? i upgraded it from 3.72 to 4.0

done and done, no proxy no firewalls, dns servers changed and no its not banned. Any ideas anyone? its either my firmware is corrupt or some router setting went wrong all this time ;/ might be ptcl blocking this protocol? but the ps3 browser is working fine ;/

dammit i did soo much and went through what not!!!

Happened with me a couple of times that psn wouldn't sign me in so I waited an hour or so and it fixed itself. It happens time to time and isn't something to get worried about
