I wonder why the official stormfiber thread that was created 2 years back is locked.
I just got connected today and so far the experience has been excellent! For the first time in my life I've been able to stream 1080p content on Youtube on a 4mb connection, something that had never been possible for me even on the best day at PTCL.The browsing is excellent, around 450kb/s download on torrents and 85ms ping to SE Asia in Dota 2(and the ping remains stable).
I'll post a detailed review in a week or two with screenshots and everything.For the time being, here's a picture of the device they provided.I can't figure out what brand it is since there's no mention of it and neither is searching the model id bringing up anything on google.

Haven't had a single downtime at all.I haven't gamed much, just 2-3 games of Dota 2 on different days but the ping was stable 85ms and no packet losses.Speed has been consistent throughout, torrents at 450kbps, browsing has been smooth and streaming has been an absolute pleasure! I watch videos A LOT on Youtube and I had zero problems whatsoever streaming at 1080p.

Thanks for the detailed reply. It seems Stormfiber really is the best choice for stability/consistency in Karachi.

Thanks man. These are pretty good pings compared to peetcl. Any game would be playable without a significant disadvantage on SEA and EU servers.

Storm Fiber reviews and feedback for users in Clifton, Karachi

Salaam guys,

I am an avid online PC gamer. I play only First Person Shooters. Counter Strike:GO to be exact. If you know much about first person shooters online, you know that PING is of high importance.

I have been using WorldCall for the past 2 years. On an average day, I will get about 60-75 ping. But recently, Worldcall's performance has gone to the dogs. Frequent disconnections, slow browsing for days at end, deteriorating performance at night etc, miserable customer service. The list goes on.

I recently came across an ad for Storm Fiber. Their prices seem reasonable. Before I jump the gun and drop 6000 to 7000 on just intallation charges, I wanted to get feedback from Storm Fiber users

1)How well are the internet speeds maintained throughout the day?
2)Do you experience slow downs?
3)How often do you encounter discontinuation of service for whatever reason?
4)How are the pings for your guys?
5)Would you recommend it to your fellow gamers?

can you guys post review of the tv? i want to run two or three tv would they be charged separately or what? i can't find the channel listing on their website, also do they provide HD? i have seen their internet and its fricking amazing, it's the tv which concerns me as i will be getting WC disconnected along with the tv so want to make sure if wife and kids can be happy

i have analog tv and now they are providing some hd box which i havent tried.

1 analog connection = 3 tv installations

fyi: there is some bullshit NAT about the IP , your ip is kinda of shared you have to purchase your static ip if you want to host ftp server etc.

Do hit refresh a few times so the ping is accurate.
