PS3 Official Wireless 7.1 Headset Unboxing

My thoughts about the headset:

- They look bulky but are lighter in weight
- They do not include a usb cable for charging, you'll have to do with your DS3 cable
- It took me about 20 minutes to turn them on. Apparently there's no visible power button or slider to turn the headsets on\
- They are made of the same material ps3 slim is made of, same matte finish
- More treble focused than bass but can still ring your years during explosions
- Plug n play connectivity with PC , which is awesome
-They have a great comfort level, I watched a whole movie with them n my ears were not irritated or got red.
- In some games you may hear noise (la noire interrogations) , some are too loud (KZ3)
- In a game they will help you hear even tiny little sounds that you didn't thought even existed.
- You'll have trouble pinpointing where enemy exactly fired at you from, though you'll notice if he's firing you from the front or back side
- Works good with movies
- If you turn the virtual surround off in games, the bass level increases.
- The headphones look great laying around somewhere on the table etc (aesthetically ). On your head they'll make you look stupid

Sigh, i really wish i could get my hands on this. I want to do a comparision with the Tritton AX Pro and these.

So far this is better looking but the AX Pro has real surround sound as compared to virtual, it's also wired.

I really want to see the quality difference in clarity and audio. Though the AXPro surround works great, i can usually locate enemy locations just by footsteps in COD.

Dude i own a 5.1 channel 10,000 watts hifi system since 2005. and cuz of the previous experience i can easily benchmark these headsets. Dont worry my comment wont reduce your sale
