PS3 Game Update Via Storage Media?

Hey There

IS it possible to update a game On ps3 via storage media? Like We do with the Ps3 system upgrade...WE download the update patch on our PC and then copy it in the console VIa USB Or other Stuff... If it is possible Then please provide me a BattleField Bad Company: 2 's Update Patch(Website link from where i can download it) because its a Heavey size patch Of almost 2GB so if i download it via Ps3 then i will be diee tryng because the light Goes Off after every Hour and then i have to start it all over again...

My region is blas 50185 and there is no update for this 1...

emm well i just downloaded the patch ..yes it took some time even on a 4mb connection ...good question though can u update via a pen drive or some thing..and if so where to get all the latest updates from in the 1st place.

Actually my case is a little different. I am trying to update MGO which has two options, either directly from server or P2P, the download from server doesn't even start, so PS3 Proxy Server does not catch it, similarly it can't download on PC via P2P option as it only works when downloading directly from server.

Surprisingly, the site has no update for MGS4.

i think its more then 2gb.

atlest on 1mb ptcl,it takes more then 8 hours.

but on p2p,u can cancle update any time.n when ll u start it again,it ll resume from last spot,wher u leave it
btw MGO is FTW(SM1)
