We all hope so man. Most of the people criticizing X360 for RROD don't do it because they hate it but because they wanted one but RROD scared them away, including myself. I will purchase X360 Jasper if it's RROD free. X360 fanboys get really emotional when something bad (although true) is said about their consoles but they should realize that anybody saying something bad is not the culprit, it's Microsoft.

Very well put. Initially I had plans to get a 360 this June and PS3 by year's end but I swapped them 'cos I heard that falcons still aren't very reliable and that Jasper is coming.

No console is reliable if you keep it running for 2-4 hours daily while keeping it locked up in a cupboard thinking that the wireless controller will still work through the glass/window. The poor thing will heat up and fry in there.

"Falcons are reliable"....just keep it in a place where the air ventilates it more. You can't even do that???....Why do you try to punish the thing which keeps you entertained for hours everyday...You selfish piece of ****!!

^i agree also if one out of fifty consoles have some problem which isnt a regular or common one then whts the big deal ...even ps2 or ps3 one out of fifty may have some problem ...it is acceptable as far as consoles are concerned

Who has the patience and time to wait MORE months for Jasper or Valhalla, oh come on! Just have fun already. 360 has been out 2 years and 5 months now. Falcon don't fail as much as PG people have speculated it to be. My ex-Xbox 360 (non falcon) still hasn't RRODed after one year, yet it has problems with DVD drive, still okay to play Arcade games though.

Most ppl put their consoles in AV shelf or TV trollies! which r closed from all sides
Just use a USB powered cooler on the back and a couple of PC fans and itll work like a charm

it is unreliable, a smaller heatsink aint gonna do much then make a tiny tad bit more reliable.

Am just radiating the effect I received from PG. This very thread is that effect.

Am I doing anything wrong if I'm waiting for a Jasper? Between now and Jasper's availability, the only mega title worth my interest on 360 side is GOW2 and nothing that gets me impatient enough to risk a falcon.

Till Jasper comes out, I have one mega reason to wait. Besides that one mega reason, I can still catch up some other already released titles on the Xbox360's enemy territory.
