Problem running codec, HELP

I am having trouble running , The dark Knight IMAX version, its the 15Gb version, the video of the MKV file runs fine but the audio codec which is in TrueHD doesnt run....
So far i have tried the following softwares:
VLC
Media Player Classic 6
PowerDVD 9
TotalMedia Theatre 3

All these have failed.... Could anyone plz help me out on this, which software to make this run?

P.S i have a Creative X-Fi titanium with Dolby Digital enabled with z5500s ...

What about the Media Player Classic - Home Cinema ? Have you tried it's 1.4.xxxx version ?

tried that aswell.... i have googled and googled and googled some more... still no luck.... tried powerDVD 10 also, that didnt work for me either .... need to run TrueHD audio... but donnu how

Well if MPC - HM was unable to play then I think the movie has a problem.

@Cobby MPC comes pre-installed with K-Lite unless blade has just installed standalone player.

The best method to merge MPC - HC with K-lite is to first install K-lite with settings (Lots of stuff [without player]) then install Media Player Classic - Home Cinema. After doing this just go to View>Options>Formats Select all/. With this it might work

I had the same problem with the file you mentioned.

Either one of two things happened.

1. The sound was too choppy
2. Audio delay

What is tried was the Divx Player (http://www.divx.com/).

I would recommend you to give it a try.

All MKV files run flawlessly on Divx. I use GOM Player for the rest.

I dont know if this can help u but their is no harm in trying this...

Right click on ur codec in taskbar while running the mkv file and chk if there is multiple audio source .....

i've never had problem playing any file in this player
maybe it'll work


if it fails try BSplayer which is also nice
