Problem in PTCL all over LAHORE ?..

[december 21st]

since last night my ptcl broadband has not been working....not browsin any website.I m using wateen right now but can't play Live games due to MTU settings of wateen.I called Ptcl service and they told me that entire lahore is facing this problem, engineers are working to resolve it,there is some problem in back end.

So just wanna confirm k sai keh rahay hai ya Laray lga rahay hau :crying:

i am using ZTE modem and i faced exactly the same problem but for few minutes. i could not browse google but after some frustration it worked fine.

PTCL is currently making their servers better time to time. That is the main reason behind their bad network service nowadays. They are currently upgrading their service so these downtimes will happen time to time. But that does not mean k PTCL sucks or whatever.
Just wait a bit & you will get to know what they are actually doing behind the scenes :wink2:

if thats the case then all the broad band services have to be ready for this...

I did not said that they are trying to Upgrade their PACKAGES. I said that they are trying to upgrade their SERVERS which means then are actually replacing their servers' low performance parts with better ones which are actually making the Internet slow.
Not to mention that before doubling the packages, PTCL got two servers running (in Lahore, dont know about other cities) but currently only One Server is in working condition while the other one is malfunctioning. So you can expect the current behavior from PTCL internet.

Ptcl jo bhi karle...the name is attached with Pakistan..........its a corrupt company internally....their employees fights amoung each otherand are least bothered about their customers.

hmm my ping here has gone up to 170ms (from 60ms) and is the same since last 2-3weeks and speed has gone a bit down too... so you have to be sure about this, as i was thinking of switching to LDN! btw i'm in pindi

Why don't you switch to MBL as you're in Rwp.

Working fine here ^.^ I experienced occasional hiccups for about half an hour at the most yesterday. But the problem is not there anymore
