Enough of GOTYs and old games guys. Lets predict the future. Past is past, present is a gift because gift is a gift and there are no gifts. Just future.

Give your top 5 predictions of what will happen next year involving games, hardware, next gen, trends and stuff.



Here are my top 5 predictions:

1. Titanfall will score 85-90 on meta. Will not beat COD in sales, but will make a huge name for itself.

2. Dark Souls 2 will be darling of critics across the board despite huge releases like Titanfall, Diablo ROS and PS4 exclusives.

3. SteamMachines will fail to garner any noticeable attention, so is its OS. Nvidia will blow AMD away with pure muscle power doggy style.

4. ElderScrolls MMO despite decent sales will fail to impress anyone.

5. Battlefield 4 will get a free DLC

Xbone will get a price drop before PS4

PS3 and 360 will continue to receive a lot of games and you'll see even more cross-gen games announced

Kinect will be a good gimmick but will probably not get a killer app

Halo 5 will miss the 2014 release schedule

A lot more "next gen remasters".

• Both PS4 & Xbone will get higher HDD capacity SKUs.
• PS4 will sweep the E3 2014 with huge announcements like Uncharted 4, Guerrilla Games New IP and atleast 3 more IPs.
• Half-Life 3 won't be announced :-(...but Source 3 will be (not really).
• Epic Games will announce their next BIG game, will be best looker on the planet.
• Fallout 4 will be announced @ VGX 2014.
• Mass Effect 4 will be announced.

Watch Dogs will be all-time epic game with a weak story.

My most anticipated game for the year, but somehow, I feel that Ubi will mess up the story real bad.

2. Rocksteady's next Batman game is not in a new setting, but a continuation... set a few years later.

3. Activision gives the option to buy the next CoD's MP separately for 40 bucks.

4. Nintendo comes back to E3

5. Uncharted 4 is about space and aliens.

2. Half Life 3 will get a teaser or an announcement.

3. WiiU dies and comes back to life at the end of the year.

4. Persona 5 will be the JRPG of the generation.

5. SNK will announce KOFXIV.

1. Watch Dogs will fall short of (blind) expectations.

2. The Last Guardian will be announced at E3. (It'll be one of many exclusives that Sony will announce this year)

3. Hidetaka Miyazaki's project will be revealed. (And it'll revolutionize gaming)

4. TitanFall will not break COD sales. Neither will its multiplat sequel which will be announced and released within a year of TitanFall.

5. Nintendo will either commit more to the WiiU or kill it off and announce another Next-Gen Console. (Won't be called the Wii or anything like that)

6. Dark Souls II will garner major success and pave the way for capitalizing of the hardcore audience with darker games. Even more so than currently, 'cause of Dark Souls.

It's already been "announced", I think "revealed" will be more apt, which Bioware have already said they'll do in 2014 too.

1. We'll see more of Uncharted but it wouldn't have any returning characters from the series.

2. We'll finally get Half Life 3

3. Ground Zero will make everyone go FUFFUFUFUFUFUUUUUUUU

4. Shyber will buy a PS4.

5. Shyber will sell a PS4 (or at least make a thread about it).

6. FFXV will redeem the Final Fantasy name.

7. GTA 5 HD will be released on PC and next gen consoles.

8. Watchdogs will be this gen's Assassin's Creed.

9. Fallout4 will be shown and will blow away everyone.

10. Yet another COD will come out and destroy sales records.

• GTAV will receive HD port on next-gen consoles and PC
• There will be no Half-Life 3
• Sony will revive and reveal/announce an old IP
• 2014's GoTY will be MGS:GZ

• The Witcher 3 will be the best RPG of that genre, will have an amazing open world and amazing story and will put Skyrim and others alike to shame.
• E3 2014 will be a huge eye candy fest.
• Titanfall will not break COD records but will be a huge success nonetheless.
• PS3 will continue to sell well and will get lots of support.
• Infamous Second Son will be the first AAA MUST BUY exclusive title for PS4.
• GTA V will be released on next gen consoles and PC.
• Next COD will not break records and competition will actually catch up to the series, pressure for COD.
