Possibly dead 9800gtx+ BE

I dint know where to ask this, but seemed like the place..could be wrong =$

Anyways, i have an 'XFX 9800 GTX+ BE'. Now supposing it's dead, which it almost is...does it have any scrap value, say 2 or 3k? =D

If u are lucky, u can get the card back.

Search baking a graphic a graphic card to make it work on google.

it's like this....the card boots and all, runs movies and everything...but the moment i switch on the AERO 3D theme on Win7..the driver crashes, and then recovers..this keeps happening for like 30 secs till i get the BSOD.

The moment you put load on it..same shit happens. Changed the thermal paste, cleaned out the cooler which i never thought would be that massive =P But i dunno seems a bit too heated up without load aswell. Needless to say i've tried it on 64 bit win7..xp...different drivers..same issues. Oh and different PCs too..same result=]

Sent it to galaxy who i got it from...let's see what they come up with =/ But yea, i'll look into this baking thing before i give up =] Thanks bro!

Dont bake it if it still has warranty o_o otherwise warranty go bye bye

oh ofcourse not dude..the warranty expired 2 or 3 motnhs back.
No one answered me if it would have any scrap value? =/

Scrap value will be too less better to bake it first...but follow the exact same steps told and report back
