So heres the thing, im pissed really that vita is as they say now became an accessory to the ps4.

it seems that its going to be a remote screen kinda thing from now on, or are we seeing some titles for it in the near future ?

Question : Burn-in on Vita and OLED screen?

I am thinking of buying a Vita and wanted to know if any of you have faced any burn-in on their screens.
I prefer the OLED screen and want to buy it before the new revision comes out.
Please do share if you have encountered burn-in or not and whether the OLED screen is better or not.
Help would be appreciated, Thanks!

the screen has no burn in issues..but the screen is not bright at all..it looks dull and with a low resolution like 540p,you can see pixelated icons which sucks imo..i have used and owned every sony console to date but vita is a disaster from every aspect..very few worth buying games and those too at a premium price of mostly over rs.3000..in graphics intensive games like uncharted and doa 5,the display lowers its brightness to save battery which sucks even more.
get a good android phone with better specs and better display than the vita and enjoy gaming for free...cheers.

Yup, it is. OLED of vita is marvelous, i myself using vita and i like it. Though u wont be able to play games properly in direct sunlight, but for indoor it looks as good as any latest mobile lcd/led display.

But for games, well there are hardly few very good games on vita. I suggest u to buy used vita as u wil get a good deal in used because of bs resale of vita dont buy a new one.

If you're use to the iPad/iPhone retina display, you'll definitely feel a little underwhelmed by the Vitas OLED in the beginning. But its definitely a beauty all on its own.
The best exclusive indie games on the market, PSOne classics, remote play and finally the FREE games you get every month with PSN Plus....its a must buy.
I will never sell my Vita, love it to death.

i wanted to get a vita ..only thig holding me back is ..is it worth the money spent on it ---i mean ---apart from some titles --most of the other titles are more like kiddish kinda ..

i have an offer for 3g vita for 14.5k ...but the only thing is are the games ...even if i get psn plus ---i can play the ps3 games coz i have a hacked console so those games are not worth playing .
,,some help on this would be appreciated from ppl who allready have a vita .

apart from killzone and assasin creed and might be unchartered what other AAA title game is there for the vita .

when is the end of life of vita ..coz i wont be surprised that they release vita 2 or some thing .

[MENTION=8932]The Avenger[/MENTION] ofcourse u can play on psn on the vita with anyone around the globle just like the console Mp of playsation 3 or 4.

some games like rayman,playstations battle and etc are good played on the vita rather than on the console..

well if there are no good games later on than the vita can work as a remote play device with the ps4 if all else fails that is.

and 2 more games right now for US ps plus. Get ps plus before Tuesday, or else u wil miss prevous free title (on tuesday night one vita free game will replace with another).

U bot vita before, u know its worth, i told u earlier to get a used one when u were buying it for first time.
KZ was available on psn for 9$ a few weeks ago, now its 35$

If u want to buy vita for remote play purpose then get it.

yes i saw the kz mercenery deal and grabbed it, too hard to miss 9$ for ps+ users was a steal

PS Vita System Update 3.10 Will Increase 100 Application Limit

One of the biggest complaints regarding the PS Vita OS is finally fixed in this new update.



Sony announced that the next firmware update for the PS Vita is due out later today. Version 3.10 will bring a couple changes and additions including raising the application home screen limit from 100 to 500, a complaint that has plagued the handheld since its launch.


Also included in 3.10 will be a new Calendar app that can be sync'd with Google's calendar as well as being able to share events using the Vita's Message and Email app. Content Manager gets a new “Manage Content on Memory Card” option that allows users to view data along with the ability to view the memory card's usage by content type.


With FW 3.10, PS Vita owners will now be able to send and receive voice messages with the Messages app. Voice messages can be exchanged between Vita and PS4 users.

wahoo that s a huge n good upgrade in FW.

500 limit is more then enough (atleast 2,3 years)

cos even after 2 year i didnt reach of 100 limit yet

2-3 games per month. This month, we were lucky enough to get 4 games on the VITA
