Sony’s next-generation console, the PlayStation 5, will launch sometime this holiday. While we still don’t have an official release date or price for the new console, Sony and third-party game publishers have confirmed a long list of games coming to PS5 this year and beyond.

Many familiar PlayStation franchises will continue on PlayStation 5, including Ratchet & Clank, Gran Turismo, and Horizon. And many current-generation games coming to PlayStation 4 (and other platforms) will be available on PS5, with developers like CD Projekt Red and Ubisoft releasing free updates to PS4 games to take advantage of the more powerful PS5.

There are still many unknowns when it comes to PS5 games, particularly around how games released on PS4 will carry over to the next-generation PlayStation. Some will get free upgrades, but some may get stand-alone PS5 releases. Some PS4 games — but not all? — will be playable on PS5 via backward compatibility.

Here’s a look at the list of games we know are coming to PlayStation 5.

PS5 EXCLUSIVES
Games coming from Sony’s first-party studios include sequels, such as Insomniac Games’ Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Polyphony Digital’s Gran Turismo 7. The list of PS5 exclusives also includes a remake of PlayStation 3 game Demon’s Souls and a follow-up to 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man starring Miles Morales. Publisher Bethesda Softworks is also bringing two of its games, Arkane’s Deathloop and Tango GameWorks’ GhostWire: Tokyo to PS5 first.

Here’s the current list of PS5 exclusives, which we will continue to update as new information becomes available:

  • Astro’s Playroom
  • Bugsnax (timed exclusive)
  • Deathloop (timed)
  • Demon’s Souls
  • Destruction AllStars
  • GhostWire: Tokyo (timed)
  • Godfall (timed)
  • Goodbye Volcano High (timed; also on PS4)
  • Gran Turismo 7
  • Horizon Forbidden West
  • Oddworld: Soulstorm (timed; also on PS4)
  • Project Athia (working title)
  • Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
  • Returnal
  • Sackboy: A Big Adventure
  • Spider-Man: Miles Morales
  • Stray
PS5 MULTIPLATFORM GAMES
Multiplatform publishers like Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, Capcom, and Square Enix are bringing new games to PlayStation 5. Games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Marvel’s Avengers, and Cyberpunk 2077 will come to PS4 as well as PS5, but some multiplatform titles — Resident Evil Village, for example — are next-gen-only.

Here’s the current list of third-party multiplatform games coming to PS5. (In cases where the game will also appear on the PS4, we’ve only included games coming out in November or later.) We will continue to update the list as new information becomes available:

And in 2021, Grand Theft Auto 5 — first released in 2013 on PlayStation 3 — will get a next-gen upgrade. About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.

Online session is enabled for UBL. I have an active subscription with my NayaPay card (it is already added to Google Payment Methods).

  • B Baghi:
did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

  • Aciel Aciel:
I tried both NayaPay, and UBL, but I keep getting "correct country selected..." error. I already have PK set there 🤦‍♂️

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!
