Assalam u alaikum

I have relatives coming over from abroad and they are planning to visit and stay overnight in Abbottabad. Are there any good hotels/inns to stay there? I'm not looking for five-star hotels of course but a place that's clean and well-maintained.

@Spartan 117 and others.

Well, to be honest, I don't really know about the Hotel conditions here since I never had the opportunity to check them out nor do I know anyone who has. :p

But still, the ones you hear about, the popular ones are Hotel deManchi, PC, Alpine Hotel and Best Western Hotel. I'm sure there are plenty more but I'm afraid I don't know about them.

But I think they'll like it more if they stayed at a guest house. There are couple of good ones here, like the Horizon, Shelton in and Snowland. One or two more which I don't remember at the time. Some of them are in my Colony and I have seen them from Outside, they look pretty good. Plus, all of them have generators from what I know so no loadshedding issue and stuff. :p

Thanks. But we've dropped the plan of staying overnight altogether. Can't believe a place as beautiful and picturesque as Abbottabad doesn't have a 4-star hotel (n)

LOL, yeah. Forgot to mention that there are 3-star hotels or less here as far as I know. :p

Anyway, Abbottabad itself isn't that beautiful to be honest, not anymore atleast in my opinion. Has been getting overcrowded for years now resulting in over unplanned construction and traffic and mess. Weather is still awesome though, the only thing I like about this place now.

You guys can go to NathiaGali, stay there (I am hoping there are 4-star hotels there atleast) and visit Abbottabad from there for the day.

Yeah we had to change plans. Now it's overnight stay at Murree followed by visit to Abbottabad with stopover at Nathia Gali. Would be coming full circle that way :D

Ottoman, SO I saw yesterday that Hotel One has been opened here. It's a series of four star hotels across the country and they are pretty good. I myself stayed in one in Lahore. So I guess if you ever plan on coming here again, you can look it up and decide to stay there. :p

Well i have visited abbotabad a lot of times and i have experience in staying in different hotels but last time two years back when we were coming from naran and decided to spend night in abbotabad. We found Abbot garden a hotel near KFC it was great experience staying there. Rooms were good, low price and active staff so try it when next time anyone going to visit abbotabad.

    Online session is enabled for UBL. I have an active subscription with my NayaPay card (it is already added to Google Payment Methods).

    did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

    I tried both NayaPay, and UBL, but I keep getting "correct country selected..." error. I already have PK set there 🤦‍♂️

    Nope. They have a very valid case. The above video explains it all.

    Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!

    if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.
