@opethian can you please tell me what refresh rate do these 4K TVs from Samsung and Sony support? My TV is connected to my PC running GTX 970 and through that I watch movies and TV shows and also game. Do these TVs support 4K at 60Hz?

my lord :) happy to be of any help @Lord Ammar
well what can i see from various models, only flagship models have 120hz capability and its not on 4k
i thought refresh rate will make better sense when input lag is also known ...

and yes 4k @ 60Hz is available across all models from cheapest Samsung KU7000 all the way to the top KS 9000 or LG C6

Thank you for that. Do you have any personal recommendations for a TV around 200-250k? Size should be minimum 55-inch. I actually don't care at all about 4K since I won't be downloading 50GB 4K movies and my PC isn't powerful enough to game at 4K. However 4K is all that seems to be available.

Personally I've always been a Sony fan. I have 2 of their LCDs in my house and I love their performance. I'd get anything between a Sony or a Samsung.

@Lord Ammar if i have that much money and im buying locally then Samsung KS8000 or Sony X850D (names in our market can be Sony X8500D or X8000D) infact someone on PG did buy Sony X8000D
but problem is local prices r insane ... i can only check online prices but local market may have better prices @Dark Sith did u check any local shops and their prices?
Edit: checked homeshopping n telemart and ur gold for Samsung 60inch KS8000 or KS8500 and Sony X8000D n 55inch X8500D
prices vary depending upon whether u want warranty or not
must check Rtings.com - Reviews and Ratings for some better understanding, these 8500 models r not that much different from their 8000 siblings, so you can even get 60inch :)

yeah i did and i posted here as well - the x8000 model in 4k hdr 75 inch is rs . 475k , i know the price coz my boss was looking for 1 , the LG 4K HDR 60 inch is rs.177000/-

if a person is on a tight budget and wants 4k then i can highly recommend the china replica 4k smart 3d which costs rs.58000 for a 52 inch 4k and yes it supports 4k @ 60hrtz as i had 1 for almost a year and had connected it to my pc .

and here is info from Amazon itself ...

4K Ultra HD content is now also available through online streaming providers such as Amazon Video, Netflix, and YouTube. Amazon Prime members can stream movies and TV series in 4K Ultra HD at no additional cost through the Amazon Video app on 4K Ultra HD compatible Smart TVs. If you're not a Prime Member, start your free month today. Additionally, other online streaming providers such as Netflix, YouTube, and M-Go also have 4K Ultra HD content. Netflix programming currently includes hit shows such as “House of Cards,” “Breaking Bad,” and “The Black List.” Netflix recommends a steady internet connection of 25mbps or faster to stream 4K Ultra HD content. M-GO, currently limited to Samsung 4K TVs, is a streaming service starting off with a select number of titles with a plan to quickly expand. Online streaming providers aren't the only ones getting in on 4K - broadcast service providers are providing content as well. DIRECTV recently announced a 4K library of pay-per-view movies and documentaries (also currently limited to Samsung 4K TVs).

So I went to the market today to check some prices and all it has done is confuse me even more. The Samsung 55-inch KU7350 is for like 130-140k where as the Sony 55-inch X8500D is for 187k.
