Has any one seen this model physically . Is it true HDR , what's the bit rate on it ---also one more question do they offer panel warranty --coz claiming is one thing and saying there is warranty is some thing else ...some ppl said its a topi drama --

They guy at hyperstar said 3 yrs warranty inlcuding the panel.

I am not buying but a colleague was interested so we asked. TCL showroom in cavalry hasnt got stock on this. So its just trickling in i guess.

Just bought the 43 in p2 its not worth it the hdmi version is 1.4 which means it will only go up to 2160p 30hz on my PC and does not work at all with my ps4 pro. HDR also does not work with the ps4 pro on this tv Gamers should avoid this TV

So we r left with Samsung KU7000 now for the cheapest HDR TV.

it does not supports HDR i posted that in my Xbox One S unboxing thread, i have it here in my room, it belongs to a friend of mine now since i didnt wanted it, to him HDR doesn't matter, for me if i am spending so much might as well get HDR too, apart from that it seems like a good panel if you can live without HDR, they have featured HDR as one of their USP so its weird and unethical that its not working, TCL Pakistan had no clue about it and they got in touch with TCL China and we were informed to connect the TV to console via USB to get HDR ... go figure that out please

They gave me same bull shit answer that HDR via USB how to fuck do u connect console via USB .

Panel is good with full rgb color gamut striking quality of pics ...but I don't think there is HDR in 65 inch in this price range .

There maketing manager apologized and said I will get full refund ..

Don't know what to do know ...some other options in lg HDR 4k in 52 inxh is rs.177k with out warranty .

The sony hdr4k is rs270k

I don't know for sure it is HDR10, as article u shared says it's HDR conversion tech which converts normal standard dynamic range (SDR) image into HDR. I would suggest wait for any reputable reviewing site to test this P2 or if someone can personally check with XBOX ONE S n some HDR Blu-ray movie in a shop n compare it with a known HDR TV from Samsung Tv. Any TV which can handle a true HDR movie content can also handle HDR Console gaming. I won't trust these Facebook n Twitter guys posting jibber-jabber just to sell their own product.

i have tried all 3 hdmi port s its hdmi 2.0 hdcp emabled etc ..but no 4k hdr ,that only works via usb ..wtf ...the marketing manager was kind enough to apologize ..there hdr model will come out in feb 2017 / though my opinions .

very good picture quality , i had mine 4k replica side by side and watched the same video clip on both ---well you can see some diff --as this has more options in terms of color gamut / and extra tweaks etc .

watched a high speed action movie clip --super smooth --no droped frames etc ---its 100% rgb as well - my replica only suppports 4k in yuv mode this has both ..sound quality is excellent , was amazed at level of bass it can produce .

plus u get a 1tb hard disk / wireless keyboard and mouse with it ...not bad options ....i searched around to find 65 inch 4k in this price range ---the models i liked sony / samsung were not avaliable or very expensive. specially the hdr models .

well if u discount what they are giving 1tb hdd and keyboard mouse the tv acutally comes down to 135k for 65 inch smart 4k / hdr via usb only option

U can get Samsung KU7350 in se price ... 55 inch curved n HDR as well, not HDR conversion but 60-70% HDR10 experience
I would not spend thatuch money on any other brand than Sony n Samsung
There is a guy on PG who is selling HDR 55 inch Sony ... worth a look

so basically the panel does supports HDR but only content being run from USB? am i correct in understanding this? that means that most probably it's a firmware restriction since panel indeed IS HDR supported?

yes it supports 4k hdr via usb only ...it might be that a firmware update will allow it to play via hdmi ....i checked out some samples in 4k hdtr on both 4k displays ...the replica model and the tcl model --both play them but the color / brightness and other things on the tcl seem much refined then replica

no , its the firmware not allowing for now --might be there is a firmware update - do note that the tv is android based so updates might come for it ---if it supports vis usb then the optionis there --enabling it via hdmi might be via a update as in some branded sony / samsung tv models as well .

but its a damn fine 4k hdr all right ---its huge --was watching netflix on it -and it was awesome
