This is what irritates me the most. Im not even gonna suggest OP to choose between the platforms. I think he should go to reddit or ign for his answers. You people always start unwanted debates. No, they just have to go through the hassle of selling their games and buying used ones and then acquiring PS+ subscriptions to play online because they have no other alternative. Reviews, media coverage, gameplay footages all exist to aid your purchase. You have only yourself to blame if you buy a game day one and regret it later on.
Atleast you have convenient alternatives on PC in Pakistan. Download the game on PC or buy it locally at a shop. If you like it and if you want to support the developer, buy it. And no gamer in Pakistan is gonna lose sleep over piracy.
All of which is besides the point. The argument is a no-brainer if one brings in piracy into the equation. I've never doubted that for a second.
Since the thread has already been derailed beyond disbelief, I should point out that you didn't mention the free games PS+ subscribers get every month not only for the PS4, but also for the PS3 and PS Vita (even if you don't own one). If one totals the price of all the games Sony gives away in a year, it would be much much higher than the $50 you spend to get subscribed.
Furthermore, if console gamers don't want to sell/trade their games personally, there are premium sellers here on PG that are willing to take up the "hassle" for them. Needless to say, the process is very easy. And this way, they can also enjoy the online component of games, which usually isn't an option via piracy on PC.
Games and series like Battlefield, Call of Duty, Titanfall, Evolve, FIFA are all multiplayer-focused. You can't pirate their multiplayer component. And legally acquiring the latest iteration of annual releases on PC means that you can't sell it once people move on to the next one, whereas on consoles you can.
I agree. The basic problem with such threads is that people don't stick to their own suggestions and instead pick on the suggestions of others that don't align with their own. The end result is an agenda-driven flame war.

I have bought some games at launch and sold them later. I never had any issues at all. So I have no idea what you are talking about here. The games will always sell unless you are being greedy and want to earn far more than what it's actually worth. Even if you get half the price (or more) by reselling, what's wrong with it? It is better than keeping the game and earning zero back on it. It's a guarantee and Ottoman is not wrong at all.
Digital games have next to none value on PC, atleast here in Pakistan. It applies the same to PSN/XBL digital games, just like Steam. Now if PC had a retail market, things would have been different. But there isn't one.

Every console has its own merits and demerits some provide flexibility like pc (e.g first gen i5 and an upgraded graphics card and you are good for another 2 to three years) Also you can play with keyboard mouse or game pad. Where you can't use key boared mouse with console. Pc has backward compatibility with dx and can pay old games. On console you can't play ps3 games on ps4 and xbox 360 on xbox one.
Some consume low power takes small space and looks good beside your hdtv like ps4.
Console has easy 3d gaming setup. On ps or xbox all you need is a 3d capable tv with pc its a bit complicated as if you got nvidia you need 3d vision kit and 3d play software, with hdxxx you also need some software but you can use any 3d TV.
Pc has large and free online gaming on consoles you have to pay annual subscription. Some will argue if they charge you they also provide free stuff the free stuff if you have to buy you will never buy but it's my opinion you can always check xbox live and psn for details.

Pc has high initial cost and low longrun cost. Consoles have low startup and high longrun cost.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
