Played these games in 3D just now:
Bioshock Infinite:
Performance:
Solid 40-60 FPS with drops to 30 only very rarely. The game was stuttering like hell before but after changing the memory values in its ini files, it runs stutter free 99% of the times (only stutters for a sec or two when a big event is about to occur or when I enter a new area).
3D Effect:
Extremely profound, loved it a lot. Combined with the amazing art style of this game, and very life-like First Person experience, it looked breathtaking in 3D. Must try this if you have a good PC with lots of RAM.
Batman Arkham Origins:
Performance:
Rock solid 60 FPS, not even a single dip at 720p and near max settings (minus the AA which was set at FXAA).
3D Effect:
Very profound, not as much as Bioshock Infinite but still very good. Batman's cape when running or when there is heavy wind seems epic. The game looks very crisp in 3D and even though some people said that you will get a headache in fist-fights, I played the game for 2-3 hours (with 30 or so fist and gun fights) but still felt fine.
Dark Souls:
Performance:
Slight drop in FPS rarely (to 35-40), no stuttering at all. Mind you I have not reached Blighttown in which I can bet that FPS will reach mid twenties. Graphics were set at 720p with Durante's mod and all its features enabled (minus the AA).
3D Effect:
Awesome, but sometimes the FOV seems a bit too much. The best effects came in Firelink Shrine till now. I went to the bird's nest and the view from there was magnificent (as well as the crow in-game video which occurs in that area). I will still prefer playing the game in 1080p and all settings maxed instead of 720p and 3D enabled though, because it just looks SO GOOD in 1080p.
Trine 2:
Performance:
Full 60 FPS on 720p and everything maxed.
3D Effect:
Best 3D effect in all the games I tested till now. You must experience it. It looks like a sidescrolling real life fish tank lol.
Rayman Origins:
Performance:
Full 60 FPS on 720p and everything maxed.
3D Effect:
Because the game has 2D art, the 3D effect wasn't that profound. But the different layers of 3D did look very discernible.
Tomb Raider:
Performance:
Not stuttering at all, but constantly low FPS on 720p (on High-Ultra with 0 AA). It was hovering in the 30-40 region, with dips to mid-twenties as soon as a large area is seen. It runs quite fluidly on 1080p and Ultra though. :/
3D Effect:
More profound than Batman Arkham Origins, but slightly less profound than Bioshock Infinite.
