pc gamerz plz help!!

can any one guide me to a good pc shop in lahore and isb.
i have a dell xps dextop with 8gb ram q9400 quad core processer with 5850 2gb graphic card and 1000w psu

the problem i am encountering is that my computer stucks every now on then. some time less then 15min some time it works great.
i do not know whats the problem i have tested the system using software available online.there is no error in the system that is displayed by the software.
i took the computer to hafeez centre they can not find the problem.they said "ase computer ka hum kam nahi karte"/

computer core tems remain at about 55 to 60 digrees

maybe problem in mother board !! but u can sell serperatly here if the parts are ok!!

yar i faced a similar hanging prob and all it took was to replace the extension cable....all fixed....

well have you tried reinstalling the OS? maybe its a software issue?

sorry not the cable...i meant the whole extension where you plug in the pc power cable......just change the place where you plug in your pc and see what happens...

99% of the time, the problem is PSU in that case...
in Pakistan... constant power outage and small power fluctuations really FUDGE your PSU's maximum lifetime.

Change PSU and check.... BUT Make sure the replacement TEST PSU can handle your 5850... or alternatively remove the 5850

I think you have dell xps 720...........remove ram, psu and gpu....one by one...and then chek...

happen to me last time. it's actually simple. update the bios for mobo. then it'll be ok. update with the latest out there.
buyer who bought my ram mobo and cpu is quite lucky

Post your complete specs here. the motherboard model the PSU brand and model and also give specific details about the issue. does it get stuck doing random tasks or at resource heavy tasks?
