Hey PG,

Well this is an update which I didnt wanted to write. As with life, there is some ups and downs.

The challenging news is that Team PG is set to lose 3 of the most epic guys I have personally known. Dont worry, they are all fine, but this decision has been in works since past 2 months, and I really cant delay it anymore.
PakGamers owe alot to these 4 individuals. Actually if we had a PG Hall of fame, *someone get to it, they would probably be one of the first few names.
All of them are leaving due to their personal and private reasons, I tried very hard to make them stay but I cant argue with life responsibilities. And it is very respectable of all of them that instead of hogging up positions,
they realize that they wont be able to give PG as much time as before and want their legacy to be passed on.

@CerebralTiger> need no introduction. A proper Legend and a true gamer. He is someone who is one of my mentors on PG. He made me learn thing by never overly stating something but by setting an example. Alot of younger guys may not realize, but anyone who knows CT, knows that this is a huge lose to PG. He has promised me that his activity wont drop and I hope he will be ever present and showing other members how to debate with knowledge but keeping the standards of mutual respect , that PG observes, intact.

@LeGenD123 > The guy knows his stuff. Even if you disagree with him on Nvidia or ATI, we all have respected his authority and knowledge. Our PC, hardware, etc sections wont be the same without him. Has always added extremely valuable input into Team PG and PG's PC section is, what it is, due to him.

@Journeys End > What an epic guy. An excellent and perfect Moderator for Xbox and gaming central. He has always help me and supported me as an Admin and a friend. His valuable opinion Team PG has shaped our forums for the better. He has treated everyone extremely fairly and is someone whose judgement I can trust with my eyes closed...even though he supported the wrong console :p:p

Edit > There was another guy who suggested me that hew wanted to step down due to him not being able to give PG enough time, thats @DarkLordMalik and I have come to accept his resignation.
He has been a true friend and always "got my back" on the forums and inside team pg. We will miss him and his true gaming knowledge alot.

PakGamers wishes all of them best of luck and promises to be there, whenever they need us, our doors are always open. I personally really hope, for all 3 of them, that their individual personal issues
get solved and they come back once again as I consider them to be really good friends. To anyone who is promoted in their place, has huge shoes to fill .

Well from that we move onto our next page. A couple of these guys suggested me their successors, who after discussing with the Team we decided to induct (promotion of @Arkonov, @StrikerX, @Spartan 117 and @KDKHAN) was in relation to this. And join these guys is @nafu (Who was in SV and Team UG) @AbbY .
So I say this to our new recruits, unlike any other time, this time not in Team PG's secret section, but on the main forum.
PG mods are expected of mutual respect, dedication and leadership second to none. You are joining the management team of the biggest gaming/tech forum of Pakistan, and you should be proud of that.
I uphold all my Mods to standards which are bigger and tougher than any other user group. No matter what level of your friendship is to anyone, Team PG has always made decisions which are fair and just.
Alot of people have worked for this forum and the community, make sure you do everyone of us justice.
Another excellent news is @Ottoman has settled into his life and is ready to rejoin our team.

PG is growing and we will be looking to induct a few more guys into Team PG and Supervisors positions.
Team PG is full of guys who can think of great and awesome ideas, we dont want that. We want individuals who can work their butts off and create and make something.
So before PMing me that "Nanow I want to become a mod " or " Giff mod plz" , send me a link to every article and thread you have created and initiatives you have
taken for PakGamers and I guarantee you, that you will be a part of this epic team.

TC and Adios!

As part of PG Emeritus, I'd like to add a few words here:

Congratulations to all the new recruits. I bet all of you have heard at one point or another from someone or said it yourself that PG isn't what it used to be many years ago. I agree with that statement, but it's unfair to blame the newer staff members. I believe the online forums scene has changed a lot since 2009-11. Back then we could lack content and not worry too much about survival or being competitive.

But things are changed now and we need to feed PG with fresh content, updates and news to establish its name internationally. It's entirely up to you to make or break that ideology. PG now has the privilege to establish its name among top level game developers and gaming communities thanks to efforts taken by NaNoW

He is solely responsible for introducing the Pakistani gaming scene to all major game companies at Gamescom and GDC. We have had very positive reactions from all the people we met and in some cases, we managed to raise some eye brows when we mentioned that a gaming community exists in Pakistan. But as you know, the biggest game companies identify you based on merit, and that merit comes in the form of content that a gaming site generates. But that's not where it ends as the other half of the success lies in a community where healthy, well-informed discussions take place.

PG has given me a lot since I joined including great friends, fun meet-ups and now the privilege to represent the Pakistani gaming scene at the biggest gaming event in the world. I hope the forum and staff members acknowledge this opportunity and help gain success by joining discussions, spreading the word and appreciate the contributions.

Thanks and happy independence day.

This is a very hard read. I'm very happy for all the new recruits into the Team PG and UG. However, that trio stepping down is a golden reminder of where PG is going. Back when I joined CT was a mod and like Nanow, Shyber the admin at the time, used to post such updates and we'll see promotions and recruitments. This kind of nostalgia is a mixed bag of emotions making me feel old now. I fondly remember Team PG writing down articles and reviews in the forum for everyone to discuss about. That's what also lead me to start writing stuff for PG. I hope the same spark works on the community here since our platform deserves contribution from all sides. It's what drives discussion forward and keeps the activity lit up too.

To all the mods stepping down you have my gratitude for being such a wonderful part of the community. I've had the pleasure of working along with some of you and I'll always appreciate everything you guys did for the site.

Good Luck to all the new mods/editors. Sincerely hoping it works out the best for PG.

Wow Chhowni
Brilliant posts! NaNoW Muaaz Ranger Taffles (y)

I'm at a loss of words. CT had been a vital part of the Team as far back as I can remember. I would forgo the usual praise and just say that CT is a true gamer at heart and the most sound and sensible poster around. Those awesome |OT|'s were just a meagre portion of his wide-range contributions towards the forum. He's one of those very few people I've always looked up to and tried (unsuccessfully, yes) to emulate. I know he will stick around and keep pushing PG even higher.

For someone who has had the pleasure of working alongside them, JE and LeGenD123 are two of the nicest and most helpful people around. Your contributions will be remembered and your respective presence in the Team, without an iota of doubt, shall be missed. We want need you guys to stay active and guide the younger lot.

PakGamers is at a critical juncture (not in the vein of a mulk nazuk mor pe khara hai :p). You've all witnessed us showering praise on those who left the Team. They're not ordinary members in any sense, for they took responsibility, initiatives on their own and were never dependent upon others to be 'creative'. Take the lead, contribute and maybe a few years down the line when you're too busy to give time to the forum, people will write these huge posts celebrating your efforts that helped improve PG.

The Administration has taken a few new initiatives and we dearly require members to take up the mantle. The website remains, will remain and shall prosper because of you and you alone. Make awesome game |OT|'s, initiate discussions, spread the word or just specialize in any one of these areas. Be proud to contribute and post quality stuff.

And Jashn-e-Azadi mubarak :salute::pakistan::salute:

Donno i m lost!!
CT retiring is news to me too. He was a role model for me back when I joined PG and I have nothing but respect for him.

NaNoW: those were some heart touching words and me stepping down is not something that will effect my activity or commitment to this awesome community. I can promise u on that.

Ottoman: dude thanks for ur kind words and its great that ur coming back on board. TeamPG always needs valuable members like u :)

Feels like just yesterday that me and CT would be on each others throats in a PC vs PS thread. Be it fanboyism, argument or discussion, those were truly fun times and I enjoyed every moment of it. CT leaving Team PG is an end of era of sorts and no one can deny his contribution to this community but times change and I'm sure the newly selected people will continue to add value to this great community.

I got huge respect for Legend123 for his knowledge of PC hardware in general and of course being a reliable partner in those Nvidia vs AMD topics :p

JE and DLM, I may have not seen eye to eye with these guys on pretty much any gaming topic, I respected both these guys as solid and dedicated members of the community and Team PG.

I wish you all good luck in your future endeavors. And since you all are claiming to remain active on PG, i think I'll jump in aswell since I went completely inactive after I stepped down.

Hi,

This post caught my attention on facebook . Its sad that PG lost some of its best men but on the other hand more are coming in. Life and PG has to go on. Hope everything works out well. I don't have much interaction with the other heads at PG but its a relief that NaNow continues and as far as I have seen he is one of the most reasonable guys around here at PG.

Best of luck.

Really saddened to see so many people step down at the same time, @CerebalTiger has been part of Team PG for a very long time quite shocked to see him go. Anyhow people leave but we can't let that stop us from moving ahead, we need to go on, push PG pass it's boundaries and make PG one of the most renowned Gaming forum of the world. I hope live to see the day when PG is right up there with IGN and Gamespot. And Congratulations to everyone who has been promoted!
