"Presently,the next generation consoles are standing out with their performance as shown in BF4 and other games ,however this was the same case with the previous gen consoles (PS3,PS2,Xbox 360 ) when they first came out .However over the years,the performance were starting to deteriorate and it became impossible to enjoy a game with a good graphics on them e.g BF3 on Xbox360 . Question : How long do you think will each of the consoles (PS4 and XBONE) will take before they reach a point where sacrifice would be made on graphics in order to compensate for game to be played smoothly .

Question : Do you think that the next generation consoles may have improved version that could help them last more in terms of performance and reliability ?

Question : Is the concept of PS Eye and Kinect 2 still not properly applied ?

Good podcast. There was a track in the middle with the guitar (the Cloudkicker one I think) which didn't fit very well. It stood out too much in contrast to the conversation. I guess a more passive track would've been suitable.

Also, what happened to Pass the Popcorn? :s

the ones that are part of "Games with Gold". they are small games this month so lets just say i haven't actually played proper games on it YET. good thing is both of them are 1080p so digging the cleaner look at least :)

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

    As per WCCF Tech review, Xbox Series X doesn't even maintain a consistent FPS and sometimes drops into the mid-20fps range. That's unacceptable, tbh.

    Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.

    PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.

    About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.
