PakGamers Mumble Server Is UP!

Yes! You heard it! PG has acquired a Mumble channel in collaboration with PTCL. So first up I'd like to thank PTCL for helping the gaming community. StrikerX has worked, well somewhat , hard for PG to get this..so lets make full use of it.Mumble, is a service that offers high quality voice communication primarily intended for gaming. It is a free alternative to TeamSpeak3 (TS3) with superb voice quality. Chat with your friends in-game, play co-op, get your squad together or hell even outside of it for normal chit chat. Also, PG clans can request for individual channels as well (PM for more info).

More feature listings like squad play, co op, multiplayer, team play...it will benefits single players, friends, multiplayer and community experience as a whole.

How to Download/Install/Join? Here are a few simple steps with image references:

1. Download and install Mumble for your OS from here : Mumble, the open source VoIP solution

2. After installing and running Mumble, Click Add New...

​

3. Enter the following details in the popup window and connect

​

Label: PG
Address: gaming.ptcl.com.pk or 182.176.65.6
Port: 64738
Username: <preferably PG display name>

4A. To join the PakGamers channel, you have to add an access token which is "pakgamers"

4B. Click on Add and enter "pakgamers"

​

5. Finally, Join the PakGamers channel

​

Note: If you're having trouble transmitting or receiving voice then configure settings to your liking from "Audio Wizard" -> http://i.imgur.com/vfFhf0z.png

Change username from the server settings (someone must already be using your username) and or create a new certificate, Configure tab -> Certificate Wizard -> Create new Certificate.
