Shows how much you know about the NG+ mode.
What if I show you a video of someone constantly deflecting a boss' attacks in NG+ ?

You passed this "criticism" even before reaching the Chained Ogre. Exactly how many prosthetics did you even unlock at that point?
Based on what I read in some reviews. Need I remind you the countless times you've raised criticism against games based on what's been stated in reviews (sometimes only one or two of them  ). And guess what? It turned out to be true when I unlocked some of these tools. Most of them are really slow and leave you vulnerable. If I had felt otherwise, I would've corrected myself.

First of all, only your world revolves around PowerPyx here
Maybe that's why he's the only relevant guide for game completionists on the internet these days. Unless you know of another one who covers all the major releases each month? lol

Lastly, someone who is A-okay with judging difficulty of a game based on 6 damn playthroughs to find a "challenge", should be open to the possibility of greater challenge in other games too.
The trophy unlock percentage on PSN tells which game's Platinum is more rare, and hence more challenging to achieve. Stats speak for themselves. You can term it as the result of an "artificial" difficulty, but the truth remains

Stats also show that majority who played DMC5 played at the default difficulty.

Stats also show that fewer "could" finish Sekiro than DMC5.

Your tired argument is based on platinum when you yourself said "not everyone is a completionist". Had Sekiro also required as much playthroughs, you would have a some valid grounds for comparison between the two.

Anyway, its at least clear to me that you had an agenda before even playing the game and the rest was all confirmation bias lol. Why else would you make more videos for Sekiro on your first play through than 6 playthroughs of DMC5 combined? :hah:

It requires 4 playthroughs for the platinum (1 for each ending), unless you make a save file backup. DMC5 requires 6, but one of the modes to beat (Heaven or Hell) can be beaten in less than hours, as it's one hit kill for both you and the enemies, including bosses.

Which makes the minimum required playthroughs 2, not 4.

You put way too much faith in his arbitrary rating. Any game can have a super high difficulty rating with repeated playthroughs, perma deaths and 1 hit death modes etc to make up for lack of any mechanical depth in its gameplay

A DMC game lacking mechanical depth?
Oh what a perfect opportunity to revisit your DMC4 impressions :tv:

Maybe if all you did was play as V
But I was given the impression that he's a "very well designed" character with "plenty of strategy". So much so that even JRPGs should adopt that style. Maybe shallow mechanics are a jrpg thing? :hah:

V plays just as how a modern Final Fantasy character should. There's plenty of strategy involved, as he's in control of multiple characters assigned to different buttons, while also evading incoming attacks and executing weakened enemies. Very well designed.
I really want to see a JRPG adopt these mechanics.

It would still be better than Final Fantasy XV's combat. His fighting style wasn't mechanically deep for a character action game, but I still enjoyed playing as him because it was different and fun to control multiple characters at the same time without being strung to a turn-based system. Only area he was lacking was in his inability to attack on his own.

I would pay to watch CerebralTiger 's "no damage" videos of a No Kuro's Charm, NG+, Demon Bell playthrough :tv:

NG+ and Demon Bell are super tame using the spam friendly method I'm currently using. However, no Kuro's charm negates the approach. Several but not all enemy hits would get deflected by spamming the block button, therefore a no damage run wouldn't be possible without actually timing deflect with the enemy's attack. Even then the window of opportunity for landing deflect is fairly lenient.

I'd have done it had there been a trophy associated with it. The platinum trophy for Sekiro itself has dropped from being "ultra rare" to "very rare" :hah:

If its so 'fairly lenient', then you should judge and criticize the game's difficulty based on those factors, like you carve out rules to judge difficulty in other games. You're not the one to shy away from a challenge even if means finishing games 6 times :tv:

Since Necrokiller was so kind as to request more videos, I played some more and have a collection of mini-boss videos for the pleasure of his viewing :hah:

The game's only real threat is From Soft's aging camera system lol.

Spoiler: show

Game length is also a factor. I could do 5 playthroughs of that game in less time than a single playthrough of Sekiro :p

Better than Rom The Spider or Micolash in Bloodborne or Deacons of the Deep from DS3 :hah:

Ended sekiro ....
Which ending did you get?

Guess that only leaves the try hard Mr. No Damage who apparently doesn't have enough time to play the game but would rather ditch the three stooges in his avatar in favor of Sekiro :tv:
