Dunno what Barlog means by "so so smooth". If 'performance mode' delivers a frame rate in the 50-60fps range, I'll definitely opt for it. Though, if it readily drops into the 40s, I'll stick to the supersampled output at a stable 30fps.
The previous GOW games (not including the remasters) have always had unlocked variable frame rates. Even the E3 2016 game play had variable frame rate not locked to 30 (but never seemed to go above 35~ etc either).
So what I *hope* they do:
4K mode should have a hard cap at 30 and Performance mode should be 1080p/ unlocked and targeting for 60 FPS.
I don't want the 4K mode to have unlocked frame rate, so that way even if the performance mode feels smoother yet inconsistent, you have the locked higher fidelity mode.
wow this is so incredible..this is incredibly difficult
from a technical, narrative and design perspective...it makes me think of the planning and production pipeline nightmare that went into this..
Game will have a Horizon style HUD system where you can disable everything dynamically and have it pop up for a second with the touch bar. This is great for immersion.
In addition to this, we’ve added an extra mode that allows you to customize which of these HUD elements you want ON, OFF or enabled via the touch pad which brings up that element for a short duration. This will enable players to truly customize their experience by adjusting visibility to HUD elements like enemy health bars, compass and enemy off screen indicators.
Give Me A Story: lets you experience the story without too much of a difficult gameplay challenge. You won’t be taking a gondola to the top of the highest peaks in all the Norse Realms, but you will have a far greater margin for error in enemy encounters.
Give Me A Balanced Experience: is the mode we’d recommend most players start with. The name says it all. We’ve tuned it to deliver a balanced, challenging playthrough.
Give Me A Challenge: is harder and less forgiving. It is recommended for players who find action games extremely intuitive, and for confident long-time God of War series veterans who’ve beat past games on harder difficulties.
Give Me God of War: is the sort of thing reserved for people who wrestle polar bears in their undies. Maybe not quite that, but it’s the most difficult mode in the game. We haven’t just made you weaker or enemies stronger; we’ve looked at enemy behaviors and placements in encounters as well, tweaking everything to make it as threatening as possible. Best of all, you cannot change difficulties once you start a game on this mode, so if you suddenly realize you’re in way over your head, you’ll have to start a new game. Don’t be sorry, be better?

Let's please have a no un-marked spoiler policy for this thread. Besides the trailers and game play previews, I myself am also going in blind. Avoiding any and all spoiler, trophy list, leaks etc kind of things.
no idea how that is a steal by wasting 3500 rupees per month and for games that are removed before you can finish them off.xbox gamepass is garbage with no local prices

Just finished Diablo 4 season in hurry to play Fallout 4 but gamepass released another banger in the form of Star Wars on April 25th. Gamepass is a steal man.
Is it just me or people lately seem to defend every bad game design decision made by the devs and try to give bullshit reasons for that? Or perhaps it's because I'm on reddit and discord
