About what I expected. A Necrokiller certified "excellent" game with minor caveats lol.

Can't wait to dive into cover from a mile away with weird af animations. Can't wait to enjoy zero verticality. Can't wait to experience yet another dudebro story.

This is a massive leap over Gears 4 in every way. If this quality holds up this will easily be the best Gears game in the franchise for me.

Played through the first chapter. There are many quality of life improvements even if the first chapter was more closed quarters classic gears stuff. The game looks B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L !!!!

Not too impressed by the MP though, played the classic mode and for some reason it handles differently from what I am used to as a Gears player especially when compared to Gear 4.

By far the best Gears campaign. The Coalition have outdone Epic Games and managed to further refine TPS gunplay to perfection.

The game looks B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L !!!!

Oh yeah. Cut scenes are CGI quality. Easily the best looking 60fps game on consoles. Can hold its own even compared to 30fps games.

Naughty Dog, this is how you dream of making a 60fps game and actually deliver on it :lol:

Oh yeah. Cut scenes are CGI quality.

Also the seamless transition from cutscenes to gameplay is delightful.. Not that its never done before in games (although it is a first for gears) but there is something really satisfying going directly to gameplay from cutscenes without a cut.....

Its between 8 to 12hrs or more, depending on how much side activities you do and the difficulty you play at. My in game save reads 9 and a half hours and I finished it on the second highest difficulty i.e. Experienced.

8 to 12 hrs seems pretty short for supposedly incorporating an open world hub system.
