The game is certainly *looking* amazing. Here's hoping day 1 patches help resolve the clipping bugs seen above.

Snowfall and Weather in Days Gone is not just about change in background or during loading, or just some area of the map. In Days Gone, snowfall happens randomly in real-time, so you can see the objects and road covered in snow over time. Amazing, unique technology.

In the mean while, at the very least Bend has made great use of UE4. The game looks fantastic. Some downsampled 1080p screens from Era.

Days Gone Patch 1.03, the game’s day one update, reportedly clocks in at a hefty 23.7GB on your PlayStation 4. Sony Bend’s upcoming PS4 exclusive is releasing later this week, but it seems that some have already received the title a few days early through retailer Amazon.


As posted by Reddit user ‘OffMaths’, the game requires a heavy day-one update which will update the game version to 1.03. The exact size of this update is 23.769GB, but details of its contents are unknown at this point.

I am going on a wild guess here...and saying that its has less to do with bugs and more to do with fixing 4K Cinematic videos (if its on a Ps4 Pro) or ingame cines
