i got a question , simple that i should have known the answer but i dont ,,,the place where i llive here acctually they dont have street numbers or house numbers so how can people send things to me ?? anyone know how ? [lol lame question ]

i know how letters reach, there is a small kkhokha hotel thingy on the end of the street and postman know that man so he leaves letters/money orders there and i pick from there but how about 'things ?' we cant send things through post offices can we ? and about other tcs thingys we need address.

any solution ? its becoming one hell of a problem latley ....

thats the problem, my friends are in the same city, so no address either, cant there be like the tcs or w/e drop it at their office here [no tcs office here just a cargo office some 'leopord cargo' thingy but people sending from aboard how can they send stuff .

Send it by Pakistan Post through registered mail... Pakistan Post is famous around the world to be having the best service where items are delivered at ur door step... but only delivery... damage to item not guaranteed

well...the place i live got the same problem as urs...so i simple order the stuff (like from galaxy"no more" and PG store) to my friends home....or simple tell the sender to write "self pick-up" on the address...so when my parcel is arrived they just call me and i go and pick it up.

i feel sorry that you don't know there are alot of places in pakistan like this come on i didn't made the thread for people to feel sorry for me , and its not a gaon or somthin the city is on GT road, damn the nazims really suck. so there is no other solution than using a friend in a place with addresses?

Check your address on utility bills maybe ? =P or you can goto the local post office & get the address from them =P & make sure if any courier service deliver to your area or not!

ok its near jhelum but u haven't mentioned the name of the city yet ( i hope it has one )
the places where no addresses are allocated are IMHO illegal, if u make private property over
it, if someday the government wants to utilize that land, they'll just take it over. so its a wise
idea to get outta there and move to a more appropriate place (just my 2 cents, no offense - peace )

Its called dina and lol its quite developed a normal plaza on the inner city road is gona cost you about 3-5 crores. shopping plazaz n lot of stuff and little population on the back of it, idk why you guyz dont know that pak has places like thiss, and lol no ones gona take anyones land here its not a goan, just that no addresses.

i see guyz don't have any idea. i didn't thought that many were really unaware, but not you dault even i didnt knew this when i moved here from Islamabad.
