Yes do check it out because the best way to know about any perfume is to personally experience it.
To be honest I'd feel awkward going to a shop just to test scents and then leave without buying anything. Abroad I can understand since they have these huge stores but over here..

UPDATE: No-go with amaga. The guy is only interested in earning $$ with his amazon affiliate link. Won't even touch another website from what I can tell. So much for PG's 'best importer'.

Giving up on the whole import thing. Will buy 2-3 from Shaheen/Dwatson/AlFateh this weekend.

I can understand that feeling but if you think it like you are testing them for may be a future buy then its not that hard. Plus testing perfumes are quiet fun anyways!;)

I think importing perfumes is quiet expensive, you may need to check with some other importer as well.

Prices. I'll probably wait for someone from my family to come from the US. A perfume that's 27$ on fragrancex is 4700 PKR on their page.

And which perfumes did you think were fake at Shaheen? I'd like to check them out.

one was VPH the code was not properly visible i tried to make something out of it but no luck while varifying on checkfresh.com then i didint bother to check rest of them maybe some of their perfumes are real i dont know
if you are into fragrance you should not be bothered by the price i know they are bit expensive but in the end you are getting real stuff that all matters 2 days back i bought boss bottled intense for 5200rs while on fragrancex its listed as 45 dollars

Is the code really a good way to check the legitimacy of a perfume? I mean, can't fakes just do the same? Copy codes off a product line?

Anyway.. a price difference of less than 1000 is OK with me, but most of their scents are way above that. And Boss Bottled Intense is 37.69 on fragrancenet. I'll wait a few months and then get 3-4 good quality scents from the US when someone is coming over. I have enough for now.

i didint said best way to check legitmacy of a product is by code ya it can be copied.
i was only able to inspect box not allowed to open it so if code was fishy i doubt perfume inside will be authentic i only referred you bec i thought you were in hurry in buying well if you can wait good for you

@paradigm Got a L'Eau d'Issey and a Cartier Declaration for myself, the latter being a blind buy. Also got a Versace Yellow Diamond for my mom. Hope she likes it.

Will share pictures once home from work.

Great buy! l'eau d'issey is an all time classic. I had used a mini tester bottle of cartier declaration and liked it! Nice to see that you bought VYD, really looking forward to it!

Yeah it was on my radar (Yellow Diamond) but I was skeptical due to its sillage rating on fragrantica. After your recommendation, I tested it in store and really liked the scent and therefore bought it.

Anyway, got another scent today.. I'm so out of control :( Montblanc Legend Intense.

ASKnASK....Its like an obsession, this year i have got like 4 perfumes already (Burberry London, Michael Korrs, Narciso Rodriguez & Dior Homme Eau) and still looking to get more. Anyways, tested two perfumes recently from an unknown house of design to me 'Ermenegildo Zegna'. First was Uomo, i would say its quiet generic but clean, fresh & citrusy, good fragrance for the summer.
Second was Intenso, this one is different, smelled better then Uomo but more suitable for winter wear. The opening & middle notes were quiet good to me but somehow the dry down was not.

It seemed pretty good. Winter scents seem very.. mute (if that's the right word) to me for some reason. I still haven't opened the package for some reason.

Anyway, I tested two Rasasi scents today - Al Wisam and Dareej. The first one is a Silver Mountain Water clone. I liked it, but not enough to insta-buy (I didn't have my wallet with my anyway :tv:). Dareej I didn't spray on me.

Also tested Angel. It's.. interesting. Not something I'd wear though, at least now in the summer. Have you tested that malt version? I've somehow convinced myself to buy one last scent.. Thinking about Aqva Amara. Can summer scents be worn well in winter?

I see, do share the experience once you have unboxed it! I would say the warm or heavy type of frags are more suited for winter wears for e.g. Narciso Rodriguez or V&R Spice Bomb.

Its quiet unique..... yes its more of a wintery scent due to its composition of warm spicy/sweet ingredients. Yes i have its better then the original more towards woody but again wintery wear! I think you can but not which are more heavy on aqua or citrus based.

Thanks. I'm seriously considering getting the metal version of Angel but only if I can find it for around 5k. Tested it at a local store yesterday and they quoted 4600 for the rubber bottle. For some reason Shaheen, whose prices are very good compared to other outlets, quoted me 5600 for a refill version (neither metal nor rubber - plain glass). Wonder why.

This will be my final purchase for quite some time so increasing the budget to about 6k. Would love some recommendations. I don't care about the brand.. The scent should be good. For some reason I can't get Aqva out of my head :( I'll compare it side by side with Bleue Issey and Nautica Voyage on monday.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
