No, and it's very hard to come by.

It was available in the following variants:
SM-G9550
SM-G955N
SM-G955FD

The first is Chinese as dragonheart786 has mentioned. English is available and you can get Google services but I wouldn't recommend it.

The second is Korean carrier version. Has English language available and with custom ROMs, you can remove the bloatware and Korean stuff.

Last is international variant and it's only being sold in the 6GB/128GB configuration in India and Brazil. So those will obviously be impossible to get. Has been launched in other countries too.

Does using 2 Sims slow down the phone ?
I am feeling significant difference with one sim

I used 2 SIMs (one local and one roaming) when I was abroad for 12 days, didn't feel any slow down at all.
Battery life was slightly affected but performance was fine. No differences.

It seems cool, but there are quite a few complaints about it and paying 50 USD for a protector where if you fuck up the installation, just goes to waste seems a bit unreasonable to me.
If they included a second protector in the pack for the same price I'd get one but for now it's stupid to waste money on it especially if you've never installed anything like this before.

What's the best place to get an S8 in Karachi?

For the warranty/officially sold model, Telemart or any GreenTech authorized store would be fine.

For the non warranty model, Telemart as well, or any store that's selling the UAE import. You can tell because the back of the box has Arabic written on it, it has a 'Samsung gulf warranty' sticker on the top left corner of the box and it has a 3-pin charger with it.

For my S8+ I imported the UAE one and for my Note 8, the shopkeeper I know in Saddar went on vacation and brought a few Note 8s back, so I got one off him.
No warranty, and I've had ZERO issues so far.

Officially sold models

S8: 79,000 PKR
S8+: 87,000 PKR

May have become cheaper and some shops may sell it closer to the wholesale rate so you can probably get it at a lower price.

Imported models
S8: Between 64 and 67k
S8+: Between 69 and 72k

Again, could be cheaper or still around the same. Depends where you get it from.

These are local market prices, not online stores btw. Those you can check yourself. All online shops have very similar prices (give or take 1000 rs).

Today got the note 8 the snapdragon unlocked version, it's absolutely a beast. Using spigen liquid air case and Ringke invisible defender protector and works like a charm.

Warranty claim is the most painful experience in PK. I suppose if mobilink sources the phone locally, then you'll be in really tough situation if phone breaks.

I don't know because I haven't bought a phone for myself since my Note 4 3 years ago :tv: I never got local warranty phones because I felt that it was never useful (back then phones weren't covered with front and back glass, at least not Android phones, and software issues I could fix on my own).

Seems like a damn good deal to be honest, especially considering it's the legit model with warranty and all.

Local warranty is indeed good these days and the fact that Mobilink are offering it at 90k and not the actual retail price of 107k is even better.

Phones in Pak don't get locked.
There is no bloatware.

Why would warranty be an issue? Locally sourced phone means officially from Samsung Pakistan with PTA certification and accidental coverage warranty.
If it breaks, take it to the Samsung Store in F-7, and they'll have it repaired or replaced depending on what's wrong with it.

Last I checked S8+ was around 2600 AED, the normal S8 is probably around 2300.
