When you breed mediocrity in the team, such results are always bound to happen. I'm happy for Zimbabwe and absolutely furious with captain Misbah. Wonder why he's still hogging the captain's spot after such disastrous results post-England series 2012?

Most of the fans are happy because they think this loss will bring some changes in the team but i think this is not the case.checkout what happened with the hockey and all those culprits are still there in the board so the same case will happen in the cricket and hopefully Pakistan will make 1-2 changes (hopefully asad will be dropped) in the team for next tour and will just relax. i am more furious on coach because in recent 2 years of his coaching Pakistan loss Test series against SL,SA and now level the series against ZIm and in result pakistan Demoted to 6TH position.i m not a good predictor but can easily predict pakistan will loss to SA in those 2 test matches easily.

Most of you including my self are really sad because of the loss, some people compare this defeat with 1998 defeat to Zim but in 1998 Zim was much powerful than this inexperienced team. because at that time they had Campbell,flower brothers,streak and their overall very experienced team but right now they have inexperienced team who have played 4-5 matches recently and pakistan have a good balanced team. i am not denying the fact that their players have played better cricket than our players but i m saying that what happened now should not have happened.they overplayed pakistan in every aspect of game in bowling,batting,fielding,team planes,and in discipline.at last i would like to praise our players who have done a good job in this shady series:

• misbah and younis have done a very nice job and we can't ask more from them.
• manzoor also have done a good job after getting wrong decisions in first match.
• both spinners ajmal and rehman took 23 wickets in 2 matches at an average of 19.
• both pace bowlers have took 17 wickets at an average of 23.
• AKmal not only made 108 runs at 27 but done a great job in keeping.
• Culprits are Hafeez,asad,Azhar and all of those 3 are batsmen

In zim pitches are fast just like SA and we expect too many runs on those pitches. today even the 5th day pitch was not as bad as the pitches in UAE on 3rd,4th day or even better.so in ZImbabwe batsmen always need to play positive cricket and play big innings on pitches like those.khair i think this is the time to think about upcoming SA,SL tours and manage a well balanced experienced batting order and consider the role of hafeez in test and not only hafeez but we need to think about azhar ali who is playing on NO3 for a long time but is not giving good output because he just managed to score 2 50+ scores in 10 innings with 4 ducks and his average is just 21.

It was nice to see Khurram Manzoor performing. I'd rather see Jamshed or Shehzad opening alongside him. Taufiq Umar is a good alternative as well.
Hafeez should be chucked out of the Test side once and for all. I have yet to lay eyes on a more useless Test cricketer.

Extremely disappointed in Asad Shafiq and Azhar Ali. Both have had more batting failures than successes in the past 5-10 matches. Not the middle order we're looking for.

UAE is a fort for the Pakistan team. Even 'Professor' Hafeez makes hay under the desert sun there.
We got demoted to No.6 in Tests, as was mentioned before. What's more alarming is that we lost 5 points and are ranked below WI now :fp1: Seriously jeopardizing our chances to participate in the World Test Championship.

No doubt. They have been fantastic in this tour and truly deserve the accolades. This tour was no walk in the park for the Pakistan team and many of the games, which we ended up winning, were very well fought.

I still maintain Ireland are most worthy of being awarded Test status. ICC should demote Bangladesh and ensure Ireland and Zimbabwe play regularly against the top 8.

What's your analysis about adnan akmal ? i correctly remember he missed a clear stumping chance when ajmal was bowling. he didn't even clicked with the bat, i am afraid we don't have any more keepers which can bat also.

Yeah i think we better just forget about test championship now.UAE is fort for pakistan but you know our batting condition is much fragile than it ever was.khair every thing will be clear as soon as they announce the team.

When will PCB announce the squad for SA tour ?as there are continuous tours for Pakistan against SA,SL,IND(hopefully),ASIA CUP including more than 10 ODI's so i think this is a good time for misbah to rethink about his ODI future because he is way too much defensive in ODI's and will have to think about odi's moreover we have to make one proper bowling openers for ODI as well as for Tests like two W's.i know we can't find them again but calling new bowlers in every series will not work for pakistan. we have used umar gul,M ifran,junaid khan,wahab riaz,asad ali,rahat ali,tanvir ahmad,ehsan adil,yasir arafat,hammad azam,abdul razzaq,anwar ali (13+ bowlers) and some more in less than 1 year but non of these work perfectly because of no policy.spin bowling is perfect just because ajmal don't loss a match even if he perform poor but we just drop our main pace bowler e.g, junaid if he perform poor in 1 match.PCB needs to think about that as well as about misbah's future.
