I am a huge fan of Jeffrey Archer. I have read his Kane & Abel, The Prodigal Daughter, A Quiver Full of Arrows, Only Time Will Tell, A Matter of Honor and A Prisoner of Birth. Next up I will read his The Sins of the Father.

Can you guys tell me any other of his greats? I have perused the internet and find many but dunno if I will like them or not...anyone who has read his novels other than the above mentioned ones, please do recommend...

^4shared has a lot of e books. But not all and many famous ones have been deleted due to copyright. Better get physical books.

I am thinking of picking up a novel by Chuck Palahniuk. Anyone read anything by him? Whats a good one to star off with (I want to avoid reading "Fight club", since I have already seen the movie) I was thinking "Survivor" or "Choke"

Lol, I remember accidentally getting Sidney Sheldon books when I was 10, Nothing Lasts Forever was the exact book. I read it and searched for the 'bad words' like fu** etc which I did not know at that time.

Read Choke and then Survivor followed by Guts and Haunted. Beware though, Guts is some serious shit.

Btw, Anyone mind sharing a good few reads?

I have a few questions:
-The Books that you guys are reading currently or usually read, are they ebooks or hardcovers and paperbacks?
-Where do you usually get your books from? If it's an ebook mention the site, if it's a hardcopy mention the shop.
-Are there any libraries especially in Karachi? (I doubt there are).
-What are a few good books worth picking up?

P.S I am currently engrossed in the Hamlet by Shakespeare. Despite it being a play. I am also going to pick up the Pink and White Tyranny by Harriet Beecher Stowe.

you have got to read the wind up bird chronicle if you haven't already. it's long but it's one of the most genuinely rewarding novels i've ever read. the surreal, dream-like narrative takes a while to get used to and for the first 200 or so pages there's no plot to speak of but once you get into to the rhythm, it's absolutely brilliant. if i could rate it i'd give it 5/5. thought-provoking, mind-blowing stuff.

Alan wake 2 is yet to recover it's development costs. Due to no physical release and no steam launch.
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
