Nvidia or any other variant GTX 960 Worth Buying

Well, you can get an r9 280x for 20-21k easy on PG market. So getting a gtx 960 would sorta be in efficient use of money (note how I didn't say waste of money)
I was checking out the reviews of gtx 960 myself last night, and I specifically remember the review on hexus site showing games running well on 1080p. I think shadow of mordor wasn't so great, but all in all the performance wasn't bad.
Nvidia themselves said this Gpu is to target people who play games like league of Legends, Dota 2 etc. So basically not heavy gaming.
If you live abroad and are shifting from anything lower than a gtx 760, this card isn't bad. You'll see some sort of gains. But not too many if you're shifting from a 760. It sorta replaces the gtx 760.
I would recommend getting an R9 280x to be honest, because it just performs better. But if you're into the whole power efficiency, having not so great of a power supply and shifting from a gtx 660 / r9 270x then this card is pretty much for you.

And 960 Price in PAKISTAN above 25K for sure and may be coast 30+
as you see 970 world wide price 350USD and in PAK around 500USD up and down
Well, if you read the reviews, you'll see that it reached 60fps on 1080p on all major titles. That's actually the whole selling point; Full 1080p 60fps in $200. You can't go wrong with this. Wish I could get my hands on this beauty :3
pretty much awesome gpu for it's price point, go SLI and boom u have yourself a gtx980 ... in most games it's gaining 60 fps at 1080p due to its enhance architecture maxwell as we know, highly overclockable which gives it's performance equal and somewhat more than gtx770 and 280x ... wouldn't mind getting gtx960 for 200$ price point, in pak it should be 24-26k and wouldn't be bad, since it beats gtx760 by like 7-10 fps in most games ... but people will cry over 128bit, for GOD sake there's something called architecture, it's like buggatti veryon producing 1000bhp on v16 (two v8s) and Aggera producing around 1200+ bhp with single V8 ... So my friends the point is price and architecture
The problem with 960 is the lack of VRAM. 2 960 in SLI would be approx equal to the 970, maybe a little better. The 2 GB VRAM is a bummer.
I can buy from canada newegg .. but Price seems to be around 254 CAD that is almost 201$. I really don't want to buy from any pg or Pakistan . Is there any other card worth buying than this one ? with added 50$ for playing games at decent fps

960 is about 40% faster than 660 and perfect for 1080p gaming. Dont look at bit shit, look at the real benchmarks.

Have a look at them. If you got extra cash then no doubt go for 4gb but right now not all games are taking advantage of 4gb and 2gb will also give a decent gaming.

Using 960 myself and I can vouch for it. 2 GB vram is not that big of an issue as most would make of it. It is designed for 1080p and for that resolution 2 GB would be enough for most games. There are a couple of exceptions like GTA 5 and Shadow of mordor but with even then it works pretty good. played both of them on this gpu and by sacrificing highest possible setting on just one or two options I never encountered any issue. Runs like a champ. No heat issues. Fans don't even run on idle. Not power hungry and a beauty to look at (MSI gaming 960 100ME).

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
