[SOLVED] Nvidia Graphics Installation Issue

Dear All,
I am currently using Nvidia Driver 344.11 for my GTX760. Some time ago I found an exclamation mark on the eye icon in system try. Upon checking it gave me indication of an update with driver no. 344.75. I downloaded it and tried to install but it kept giving me as can be seen in the attached picture.
Any help in updating the driver would be appreciated.

download the driver from the website and perform a clean install

If "Updating" doesn't work ... how about a "Clean" install?

Also, check your device manager and see what its showing you there.

Install Display driver uninstaller and uninstall all your drivers then download latest driver from nvidia's website then install (clean install) that drivers.

Download "Display Driver Uninstaller" and remove your GPU drivers through it while in safe-mode. It makes sure that everything is removed properly. Then perform a clean installation and your problem would become a thing of past.

Same issue with me while downloading from nvidia experience , but downloading from website directly will help

I removed the driver from control panel and then used Driver display uninstaller from Guru3d.
Removed it and restarted in safe mode. Had the new Nvidia driver downloaded from site already. Ran the setup but it is still giving the same error

Problem is solved.
I just googled it and to my surprise this time the issue is prevalent with the Nvidia cards and much talked about on the tech forums. Guess so much for Nvidia driver support. I never touched any ATI card after 5870 due to the worst driver support.
Well there I found two solutions, actually more than two but the one that worked for me was to go into My Computer, Device Manager, Update Display Adapter and simply browse for the driver which was installed in the C:/ drive.
Only thing, I now don't have notification icon of Nvidia in the system bar. The driver is installed though and shows correct version.

[MENTION=26741]Lord AvaLon[/MENTION]! You will not be able to see a notification icon as before, because the method you used, have only installed "The Display Driver". Check, in "Nvidia Control Panel > System Information > Components tab" ... that you have PhyX and other stuff installed.

Yep,
I checked it. It does show and it would be a relief not to see an exclamation sign on the notification icon again.
