Guys I'm getting a no post code ( 00) when i try to boot i have tried the following

1) switching bios
2) booting with 1 ram stick
3)removing 8 pin cpu connecter
4)removing 24 pin connecter
5) removing all power and leaving the system for 10-20 minutes
6)checking all the cables
7)cleared cmos on both the bios

....which cpu u using 5820k....if so try a 5930k could be earlier.bios which does.not support the.new revision 5820k.

If.with a.new 5930k it.does the same.then try.bios.2.if.there.is.in.it.

If still.it's.doing.same try with.1.stick of ram, and if still problem is there then it's the.mobo

well after trying all of the above except trying the cpu in another board because i don't know anyone who has an x99 or an haswell e cpu lying around . I've come to the conclusion that either the cpu or the board is dead and its going for an rma . since both of these were in warranty .

for the background info : it was not overclocked was running stock at 3.3 temps were below 40 for cpu i shut it down one night i wake up in the morning and i try to boot and i got the 00 post code . so i have no idea what happened .

Lets see what MSI people do about the rma im hoping they have another x99 with them because i want to play the witcher expansion badly -_-

ok 1 thing ..did u mess around with the voltages and then forgot that you have applyed more , what about recent bios updates , to rule out the cpu take both to them and see ur self , from what i am seeling it can be the CPU.

well about 2 months back i playing WOW and suddenly the game froze , so i reset the system when it booted back up it said extreme high voltages dedicated i immediately pulled the power cable out , i have a rampage v , well after a while when
i re started i went in to bios , ALLAH help nothing happened there is an option mannual voltages it was on auto the other option is disabled , i disabled it .

on asus forums and overclock.net a lot of ppl have burnt here cpu with this option enabled , for no reason the mobo applyes way over voltages and in instants the cpu is dead .

this might not be your case but this issue is there on x99 boards .

this might not be your case but this issue is there on x99 boards .
all my volts were stock . i previously had an issue with the bios not taking xmp profiles during the oc competition so i had to do those manually . later it stopped talking blk speed adjustments . after which one fine day one of the bios failed to post and i switched to the other bios and everything was stock ever since. i had it at the back of my mind that there was something wrong with the board but since all my games were running fine i never bothered . now that it failed to post i was certain it was the board .

i have contacted the msi people here they gave me the option to either wait for the new replacement board which will take about 90 days to get here . or i can get a rebate and get a board that is in stock .
since they don't have x99 with them so i will have to get a skylake board which is useless for me because i will have to sell the cpu which will again not sell more than 35k .
so essentially i would be paying to get a downgrade which does not make much sense lol

so again thank you for helping out guys . =)
lets hope i get the system up and running before doom is launched :D o_Oo_Oo_O
nafu i will bro =)
