Reinstall your windows, Easy fix or just roll back in safe mode, Press F8 before windows logo and go into safe mode and roll back. or Uninstall GPU drivers and reinstall it in safe mode. opcorn2:

Go to safemode.
Uninstall driver and Install the older ones.




Unfortunately, it is a sign of a dead GPU but it could also be windows.
Give that a shot before you come to a conclusion though.


Another way to make sure is to uninstall all display driver.
Connect your GPU, and check if your screen is colored, distorted or pixelated.
If your screen does look messed up with GPU connected your gpu is a goner. :\

ram is fine , pc works without gpu fine , with gpu also fine , things go crazy when i put in gpu drivers .... cleaned ram with eraser so i think they are ok

you can also try to roll back your entire windows to a safe date using restore settings, not just the driver.

tried not working , so formated everything , so rolling back again i dont think is possible now

You did OC ur card? Because issues can rise because of Over clocking.

After full formatting the GPU still doesnt work then it might be dead. It has happened multiple times that after updating drivers AMD GPUs just die. Might be a coincidence but i have seen some post where victims faced the same issue.
Also sometimes manufacturers give GPU BIOS updates too ( So look for yours it might get it back to life ) BIOS Update – gpuShack
Before proceeding keep in mind that Bios update is a very very risky process and you must use only the bios made for your own hardware.

Go to youtube to get appropriate tutorials about GPU bios downgrade. U will definitely get R9 270x tutorials easy. Good luck :bd2:

Try checking the GPU on another system.
My R7-265 showed same symptoms before dying.
